The Commissionerate of Intermediate Education, Telangana State has introduced Short term Certificate courses with duration of 3 months, 6 months and 1 year to enable SSC failed and passed students who wish to join and earn their livelihood in a short span of time. As of now, 40 skill oriented courses have been introduced in the sectors of Engineering, Information Technology, Commerce / Retail, Hom
e Science, Animal Husbandry, Paramedical and other areas. The testing, evaluation and certification of Short Term Vocational Courses is done by the State Institute of Vocational Education (SIVE) in the Commissionerate of Intermediate Education, Telangana State. These Courses are multi entry, multi exit modular type and Certification is grading pattern and under the control of Commissionerate of Intermediate Education, Telangana State. The existing Admission and Enrolment process is now being revamped totally to cater to more audience especially in the rural areas by including the following features. Visit www.sive.telangana.gov.in
FOR STUDENTS
Students who are looking for a quick job can now choose a course and college of their choice and enroll into required skill-oriented Vocational courses and get equipped with industry-ready knowledge.
• Any student as eligible as 5th Class to PG can register into these courses
• Certificates are recognized by Govt of Telangana and valid in all over the world.
• Self-enrollment of Admission process by Students by choosing their own course and college.
• Course Fee shall be paid directly by Students to Board using Online Payment Gateway so that they don’t pay extra fee to colleges.
• SMS and email notifications will be sent to Students, Colleges and appropriate authorities at each and every step of enrollment.
• Students can see the past results of every college before they chose to enroll.
• Less theory syllabus (30%) and more practical syllabus (70%)
FOR COLLEGE
Any existing Intermediate College (Govt or Private), Institute or NGO can register as a Vocational Center by choosing a minimum of 2 & maximum of 9 skill-oriented courses recognized by Govt of Telangana.
• Financially strengthen your College/NGO/Institute as per the S.I.V.E Norms.
• College/NGO/Institute don't have to explicitly advertise for their courses. Students will search/enroll into your college from here based on their course of interest.
• College/NGO/Institute will be popularized by for providing quick jobs.
• You will get an opportunity to create awareness of Vocational Education from 5th to 10th pass or fail students under social responsibility and also for un-employed youth in rural areas.
• To Provide Vocational Education (Technical Skills) for better livelihood for pass or fail candidates.
