🇮🇳 *Celebrating the Spirit of Freedom, Leadership & Service at Surya The Global School, Bachupally!* 🇮🇳
15 August 2026, Surya The Global School, Bachupally, celebrated *India’s Independence Day* with immense pride, patriotism and enthusiasm. The occasion was made even more special as the school also witnessed the *Investiture Ceremony* and the much-awaited *Inter-House Dance Competition*.
The celebrations commenced with a solemn *homage to the nation’s heroes, followed by the **unfurling of the National Flag, the Investiture Ceremony and a spirited **March Past* by our young leaders and students.
The school campus then came alive with an array of vibrant cultural performances, as parents who joined us in great numbers witnessed the talent, confidence and patriotic spirit of our students. The highlight was the *Inter-House Dance Competition, themed *“Jai Jawan – Jai Kisaan”—a fitting tribute to two of the nation’s true heroes: the *soldier who safeguards our borders and the farmer who nourishes the nation*.
The celebrations also brought together the Surya family across branches, with parents from our *Ameenpur branch* joining us to cheer for two special group dance performances presented by the talented Ameenpur students.
We were honoured by the presence of our *Chief Guest, Senior Principal & Trustee, Ms Laxmi Dharithri*, whose presence added great significance to the celebrations.
Also gracing the occasion were *Ms Sameena, Head – Academic Operations, who highlighted the importance of **hard work as a meaningful way for students to serve the nation, along with officials from our Administration Department and dignitaries from our sister branches, including **Ms Srilatha, Principal, Surya The Global School, Ameenpur*.
It was a day that beautifully brought together *patriotism, leadership, talent and the spirit of service*—reminding our young Suryaites that the best way to honour our nation is to grow into responsible, capable and compassionate citizens.
🇮🇳 *Jai Hind!* 🇮🇳
