Monsoon Magic Project: As part of their introduction to Natural Sciences, our Grade 1 & 2 children stepped outdoors to experience the wonders of the monsoon firsthand.

With curious eyes and open hearts, they explored puddles, discovered tiny monsoon creatures, observed seasonal blooms, listened to birdsong, and noticed the many changes that rain brings to the world around us.

At Imara, we believe nature is the child’s first teacher. Through observation, wonder, and exploration, learning comes alive.

We had a lovely morning of an informal chat with parents where we shared our thoughts and concerns. Parents of older kids spoke about things that worked for them, new parents at Imara got a glimpse into the school day, and parents and facilitators could interact without the formal setting of a PTM.

Because education doesn't stop outside the classroom, and we are all part of the community we want to build for the children.

We ended the Imara Facilitators workshop bringing in all the learnings together helping us to better observe and communicate. We also shared our gratitude with each other letting them know the value they being to our lives.
At Imara, teaching is not just a job, but a chance to build bonds and show up for our children with full awareness.
