y the Chaitanya Bharathi Educational Society (CBES) in a serene and tranquil atmosphere at Gandipet, Hyderabad and has grown rapidly since its inception in 1997. The lush green campus of MGIT is spread over 30 acres of pleasant landscape with a constructed area of 2,50,787 sq ft
CBES was established in 1979 by an erudite and eminent group of trail blazers. The primary objective of this Educational Society is to create temples of knowledge. The atmosphere is conducive for imparting essential technical & wide gamut of requisite skills that groom students into responsible global citizens, ready for success. The institution named after the father of the nation lays great emphasis on value-based education. The campus is bustling with activities, assiduously supported by the management. In a recent development, MGIT is honoured to be conferred with the autonomous status by University Grants Commission(UGC), New Delhi. The college offers courses in 11 Undergraduate Programs (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Mechatronics, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Business System, Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) and Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science). Brilliant and Meritorious candidates seek admission into MGIT, through an annual competitive examination called EAMCET. For the last three years, about 75-80% of our students have been successfully placed through college placement cell. Many of our alumni have opted to pursue higher education and are now well settled in different parts of the world in the coveted positions. The Institute, committed to Education and Innovation, started with three branches for under graduate courses in Engineering with an intake of 180 students. Over the Years, it emerged as a dream destination for students seeking to excel in Engineering and Management education and offered them a rewarding career. Stringent academic standards, Industry compliant teaching methodology, Research Projects from Private and Public Sector Industries in Engineering and Management and Consultancy Practice, enabled the Institute to establish its Identity in the field of Technical Education and is Numero Uno amongst the private Engineering Colleges in both the Telugu speaking states

The teaching-learning processes adopt a wide range of Academic, Co-Curricular & Extra-Curricular Programs in the existing State-of-the-Art facilities. On August 2nd, 2024, we were privileged to host the MOU Exchange with Knowledge Foundation @ Reutlingen University and Indo Euro Synchronization with MGIT. This event represented a pivotal step towards fostering international collaboration and innovation. We were honored to welcome Dr. Geigis Daniel Marius, Managing Director of Knowledge Foundation @ Reutlingen University (KFRU, Mr. Raj Venkat Vangapandu, President and CEO of Indo Euro Synchronization (IES). Their insightful addresses underscored the importance of building strong educational and technological bridges between Europe and India. This partnership is designed to create a robust platform for knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and mutual growth. We look forward to many more collaborative endeavors and shared achievements in the future.

On 21st June 2024, MGIT celebrated International Yoga Day with immense enthusiasm and participation. We were honored to have Narsingi Municipal Chairperson, Smt. Mailaaram Nagapurna Garu, Municipal Commissioner, Shri T. Praveen Kumar Reddy Garu, and Municipal Counselor, Smt. Gopala Sunita Garu join us for this special occasion.
Our students, faculty, and staff came together to practice various yoga asanas and meditation techniques, promoting mental and physical well-being.
