National Handloom Day - Celebrating the threads that weave our heritage
On this day, August 7th, we honor the timeless artistry, skill, and dedication of our handloom weavers โ the silent keepers of Indiaโs rich textile legacy.
To honor the spirit of Indiaโs rich handloom heritage, talented students of Roots have come together to conceptualize and create a Visual Merchandising Installation that pays tribute to the artistry, culture, and sustainability of handloom textiles.
This creative showcase is more than just a display โ itโs a story woven in threads, highlighting the beauty of traditional craftsmanship through a modern lens. Drawing inspiration from regional weaves, natural fibers, and indigenous motifs, the installation reflects both reverence for the past and relevance to the present.
