Has mental math vanished away as we progressed through our grades? Did numbers walk away in our journey? Well, FUNRAP is here to bring back the elementary school mathematics, be it nightmare or fun. This event involves students performing mental math varying from simple addition to evaluating exponents all while having no pen and paper! Yes, you heard it right. Ms. Marlene Funck, a Bachelor of Physics student from Hannover - Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover, Arndtstraße 14, 30167 Hannover joined as an Intern under DAAD RISE worldwide program at BITS-Pilani Hyderabad Campus. She will work under the supervision of Prof. P.K. Sahoo, Department of Mathematics, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, Hyderabad during 12th of August 2023 to 24th of September 2023.

I am happy to share that Department of Mathematics, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus is now ready to host it's first ever Mega Physical Conference at our campus titled '89th annual conference of the Indian Mathematical Society: An International Meet (IMS 2023)' during Dec 22-25, 2023. We are likely to host a mass of around 300-400 participants in our campus along with distinguished Mathematicians for invited and plenary talks.
