Many digestive health concerns go unspoken, often because symptoms are dismissed as temporary or considered too uncomfortable to discuss.
However, persistent symptoms such as chronic diarrhea may be more than an inconvenience. They can sometimes indicate underlying gastrointestinal conditions that warrant timely medical attention.
On World Digestive Health Day 2026, the global theme, "Don't Flush the Signs Away," reminds us of the importance of listening to our bodies, seeking professional guidance when symptoms persist, and breaking the stigma around digestive health conversations.
Awareness is the first step toward better outcomes. Because digestive health is fundamental to overall well-being.

Proud to share the successful completion of Endocrine Practice, Innovation & Clinical Insights (EPIC 1.0) on the eve of International Mother’s Day, uniting global healthcare experts across Emerging Markets to advance better metabolic health for mothers through scientific exchange and collaboration.
Under the theme “Her Health, Her Future: The Mother’s Metabolic Continuum,” the webinar featured renowned endocrinologist Prof. Julia Mader, who delivered valuable insights on diabetes and cardio-renal-metabolic risk management across every stage of a mother’s lifelong health journey.
The webinar brought together healthcare professionals from 50+ countries across Asia, Africa, LATAM, CIS & the Middle East. With 2,500+ registrations and 1,100+ active participants, EPIC 1.0 emerged as a strong platform for global collaboration in women’s cardiometabolic care. On World Hypertension Day, let’s come together to defeat the “silent killer.”
Hypertension often shows no symptoms, yet it significantly increases the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney disease. Early detection, regular monitoring, and sustained treatment can help prevent most hypertension-related complications.
This year’s WHO theme — "Controlling Hypertension Together: Check your blood pressure regularly, defeat the silent killer” — reminds us that managing hypertension is a shared responsibility involving individuals, families, communities, healthcare professionals, and health systems.
Take a simple step today: Check your blood pressure regularly and encourage your loved ones to do the same.
