In Devnar School, education, boarding and lodging are absolutely free for the Visually Challenged child.

The FIDE Rating National Open Chess Tournament for the Visually Challenged 2026 concluded successfully at Devnar Foundation for the Blind, bringing together over 370 visually challenged players from 19 states.

Across 5 days and 9 challenging rounds, participants showcased exceptional patience, memory, calculation, and competitive spirit on the chessboard. More than a tournament, this event stood as a reminder that talent finds its way when given the right platform, encouragement, and opportunity.

Congratulations to all the winners, participants, organisers, and supporters who made this national-level event a proud and inspiring success.
