Why in India we celebrate National Ayurveda Day Only on Dhanteras?

National Ayurveda Day is celebrated every year on the day of Dhanteras. Lord Dhanvantari is believed to be the god of Ayurveda and healing.

According to beliefs, Lord Dhanvantari originated during Samudra Manthan. Lord Dhanvantari, who came out of the churning of the ocean, had the urn in his hands.

For this reason, the birthday of Lord Dhanwantari is celebrated as Dhanteras (Dhanteras) two days before Diwali. In such a situation, National Ayurveda Day is celebrated on the day of Dhanteras, the birthday of Lord Dhanvantari, who is called the God of Ayurveda.

Importance of Ayurveda in Corona Epidemic Period
Everyone has understood the importance of Ayurveda during the Corona epidemic period. Ayurvedic things are being used everywhere in the country today to increase immunity against corona virus. The importance of Ayurveda has increased rapidly in the country.

Dhanteras is also dedicated to the Hindu god of medicine, Dhanvantri.

The theme for this year is Ayurveda for longevity.Ayurveda is an ancient system of medicine and has an entire universe of therapies for everything from longevity to dandruff and kidney stones.

We are giving a chain of 1,000 prayers to Dhanvatari, God of medicine, to protect everyone from the coronavirus and other diseases. Say this below prayer

* Om Namo Bhagavate Maha Sudharshana * * Vasudevaya Dhanvantaraye *
* Amrutha Kalasa Hasthaaya Sarva Bhaya * * Vinasaya Sarva Roka Nivaranaya *
* Thri Lokya Pathaye Thri Lokya Nithaye Sri Maha * * Vishnu Swarupa Sri Dhanvantri Swarupa *
* Sri Sri Sri Aoushata Chakra Narayana Swaha * 🙏

* Meaning *: I bow down and pray to Lord Dhanvantari, who is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu and is called Sudarshana Vasudev Dhanvantari. You hold in your hands, the Kalasha full of the nectar of immortality. O Lord, you can remove all fears and diseases. You protect all three worlds and are the well-wisher of all created beings. You are the Lord of Ayurveda and the manifestation of Lord Vishnu. You are the ultimate healer of all living beings. We adore you and pray. 🙏
