Aimed at helping students master the art of solving problems with optimal code, the event saw active participation of students from all branches of Engineering. In order to aid your curiosity, the Computer Society Chapter of IEEE VBIT - SB has come up with a two-day event, APPATHON wherein you’ll get to experience a Hands-on App development Workshop on day 1 and compete on day 2 with the knowledge that you’ve gained.

There is no prior programming experience required to participate in the workshop.

We, the team of Computer Society under IEEE - VBIT SB, cordially invite you for the 54th celebration of IEEE Day.

In order to make the celebrations more exciting, we are back with yet another stimulating event, "Pre - IEEEXtreme" - which is a coding competition on C, C++ and JAVA.

The competition is going to be held in two rounds.

● ROUND 1: [Time Limit - 1 hour]
» Multiple Choice Questions on C, C++ and JAVA.
» Top 10 scorers to solve in the minimum amount of time will be promoted for round two.

● ROUND 2: [Time Limit - 1 hour]
» Multiple Choice Questions along with coding in C, C++ and JAVA.
» Top 3 scorers to solve in the minimum amount of time will be rewarded with merit certificates.

Your participation will pave way for "IEEEXtreme 11.0" which is a worldwide coding competition for 24 hours. Refer to "www.ieeextreme.org" for further details.

Another splendid milestone established by the Computer Society of IEEE - VBIT SB by conducting the first ever industrial visit to the Tata Consultancy Services, Deccan Park, on the 8th of August, for the students of third and fourth years belonging to the CSE and IT departments.
The core purpose of the event was to provide a unique experience to the students and exchange and share good practices which could be replicated to improve the understanding of the process of work in a professional environment.
