Tokyo Olympics - 2020:
టోక్యోకు బయలుదేరిన భారత తొలి బృందం:

ఎన్నో ఆశలతో, మరెన్నో ఆకాంక్షలతో ఎక్కువ పతకాలు సాధిస్తామనే నమ్మకంతో భారత్ నుంచి క్రీడాకారులు, క్రీడాధికారులతో కూడిన తొలి బృందం శనివారం (17th July, 2021) ఇందిరా గాంధీ అంతర్జాతీయ విమానాశ్రయం నుంచి బయల్దేరింది.

ఈ బృందంలో 54 మంది క్రీడాకారులు, 34 మంది సహాయ సిబ్బందితో కలిపి మొత్తం 88 మంది ఉన్నారు. మొత్తం 8 క్రీడలకు సంబందించిన క్రీడాకారులు ఉన్నారు.

1. Archery (ఆర్చెరీ)

2. Badminton (బాడ్మింటన్)

3. Gymnastics (జిమ్నాస్టిక్స్)

4. Hockey (హాకీ)

5. Judo (జూడో)

6. Table Tennis (టేబుల్ టెన్నిస్)

7. Swimming (స్విమ్మింగ్)

8. Weight Lifting (వెయిట్లిఫ్టింగ్)

ఈ బృందంలో తెలుగు స్టేట్స్ నుంచి Badminton (బాడ్మింటన్) - P.V. సింధు, సాయి ప్రణీత్, సాత్విక్ సాయిరాజు లు ఉన్నారు.

Archery (ఆర్చెరీ) - దీపిక కుమారి, అతాను దాస్
Table Tennis (టేబుల్ టెన్నిస్) - మనిక బత్రా, శరత్ కమల్ లు ఉన్నారు.
Gymnastics (జిమ్నాస్టిక్స్) - ప్రణతి నాయక్

» Weight Lifting (వెయిట్లిఫ్టింగ్) - మీరాబాయి చాను. ఈ సారి ఒలంపిక్స్ లో వెయిట్లిఫ్టింగ్ విభాగంలో భారత్ నుంచి పాల్గొంటున్న ఏకైక వ్యక్తి ఈమె. మీరాబాయి చాను టోక్యోకి అమెరికా నుంచి శుక్రవారమే చేరుకుంది. ఆమెతోపాటు కోచ్ లు విజయ్ శర్మ, సందీప్ కుమార్ ఉన్నారు.

» భారత్ నుంచి మొదటగా సెయిలర్స్ తో (4) కూడిన బృందం టోక్యోకు చేరింది (గురువారం).

» భారత రోయింగ్ మరియు షూటింగ్ జట్లు ఇప్పటికే టోక్యోకు చేరుకున్నాయి.

» భారత బాక్సింగ్ బృందం ఇటలి నుంచి బయల్దేరింది, ఆదివారం చేరుకుంటుంది.

32వ టోక్యో ఒలంపిక్స్ - 2020లో భారత్ నుంచి మొత్తం 127 మంది క్రీడాకారులు టోక్యో ఒలంపిక్స్ కి అర్హత సాధించారు. భారతదేశం నుంచి వెళ్తున్న బృందం మొత్తం - 228 మంది. ఇందులో క్రీడాకారుల సంఖ్యా - 119. విదేశాల్లో శిక్షణ తీసుకుంటున్న క్రీడాకారులు అక్కడ నుంచి నేరుగా టోక్యో కు చేరుకుంటారు.

» 32వ ( # # ) ఒలంపిక్స్ ని జపాన్ దేశం ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా నిర్వహించబోతోంది.

» ఈ Olympics జరుగు తేదీలు: 23rd July 2021 to 8th August 2021.

» ఆతిధ్య దేశం: జపాన్ (Japan)

» జరుగు ప్రదేశం: టోక్యో (Tokyo-Japan)
