5K Walk for Child Education-Rotary Club of Hyderabad Gachibowli

The Rotary Club of Hyderabad Gachibowli, executes extensive community service projects in the areas of education, polio eradication, blood donation, nutrition, and conservation of energy. They also support the Pallavi Ashram, a home for abandoned mentally unstable people.
RCHG supports the Zila Parishad High School in Lingampally (class I to 10), supporting for the last 8 years and the Zila Parishad Primary School, Taranagar, Zila Parishad Upper Primary School Gowlidoddi, Prathemic Vidyalaya ( UPS ) Murthuja guda village, moinabad mondal.
Over the past few years their efforts have resulted in building up of classrooms, toilets for girls, providing dictionaries, computers, and desks to the schools. The untiring efforts of the members have resulted in transforming the two schools into viable thriving educational institutions.
However, lot more needs to be done.
As we all know that funds are required to turn the wheels of this world. The club is organizing its flagship event, the 5 K walk, in the Gachibowli area, on the 28th of February 2016, to generate funds to support our projects, especially education for the girl child. Come, Walk a small distance with us and guarantee a big change.
