From Learning UI/UX to Proving It in a Real Project
We are proud to congratulate Boppisetty Prem on being selected as a UI/UX Designer at GT APEX! ππ
Prem completed his B.Com β Computer Applications in 2024 and decided to build his career in UI/UX Design.
In 2026, he joined TechU Innovation Labs to learn UI/UX and develop the skills needed to enter the industry.
What makes his achievement especially meaningful is that his journey wasn't about coming in with everything already figured out.
It was about learning, practising, completing projects, receiving guidance, and gradually becoming confident enough to apply those skills in a real-world environment.
During the selection process, the client conducted multiple rounds of interviews. In the final stage, Prem was given a 4-day practical task based on real project work.
This was where his learning had to become ex*****on.
He applied the skills he had developed, worked on the task, and demonstrated what he could actually deliver.
π₯ His practical work impressed the client, and he was selected to join the company on the same day. π
And this is an important lesson for anyone planning to enter the technology industry:
You don't need to know everything before you start.
What matters is being willing to learn from the fundamentals, practise consistently, work on projects, take feedback, and keep improving.
At TechU Innovation Labs, our focus is not only on teaching concepts.
We encourage students to learn β practise β build β receive feedback β improve β prepare for real opportunities.
Because eventually, companies don't just ask:
βWhat have you learned?β
They ask:
βWhat can you actually do?β
Prem's experience is a great example of why practical learning matters.
π To students and graduates from different educational backgrounds who are considering a career in UI/UX or technology:
You don't have to wait until you already know everything.
Start with the basics.
Build your skills step by step.
Work on projects.
Take your assignments seriously.
Improve your communication.
Prepare for interviews.
And most importantly, give yourself the opportunity to become industry-ready.
Your background may be where you start β your skills are what can take you forward. π
π Congratulations, Prem!
The entire TechU Innovation Labs family is proud of your achievement and wishes you tremendous success in your journey as a UI/UX Designer.
β¨ Learn from scratch. Build with confidence. Prove yourself through your work.
