Giftedness comes with its own set socio emotional behaviour. In most cases it's seen that these children live in their own world. They love books and share more with books than to interact with kids their age. They are very emotional and find it difficult to accept failure.

As parents it's our duty to understand them and help in creating a positive environment at home. If we give them the space to share the child would find it easy to accept certain norms of society.

Giftedness, is a way of life. It is about understanding your child and then responding. Every child would behave differently in different situations. It's for us as parents to understand their behaviour and help them to respond in the appropriate way as per societal norms.

Giftedness has its own way. Each child is different. Some manage their emotions some need constant guidance. As parents it's our responsibility to understand our child's need and be ready to do whatever it takes to make them excel.

Giftedness, is not something we have control. It is the ability to think differently, behave dy and be out of the box. As parents we need to accept it, encourage it and be part of it.

Every child is gifted. It is how we as parents try to nurture that giftedness and let it bloom. Giftedness can be related to interest in a particular field of subject or just the way child behaves and interacts in different situations. It is our responsibility to nurture this capability and help the child.

It is not always about who's right and who's wrong. It's more about wether we have time and patience to listen completely what the child wants to share with you as a parent.

Every child has his/her own way to express their feelings and emotions. As parents it is important we give them that freedom and space to express themselves freely. This may be through constant hugs, constant affirmations, spending some alone time etc. Many times we may feel that it is not right but once we curtail their expressions or emotions they will stop sharing with us. Hence it is vital that we always acknowledge and listen to them.
