Celebrating the Spirit of Freedom
BOMIS Bandlaguda proudly celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with great patriotic fervour by hoisting the National Flag. The celebrations came alive with a vibrant tableau showcasing our brave freedom fighters, along with inspiring patriotic songs, poems and speeches presented by our students. Jai Hind!

Pre-Primary Independence Day Celebration
Our tiny tots at BOMIS Bandlaguda immersed themselves in patriotic fervour as they celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with joy and pride! Dressed beautifully in the Tricolour-themed attires, our little learners proudly embraced the spirit of the nation. Some students came dressed as India’s national symbols and confidently walked the stage during the morning assembly. The celebration also featured a meaningful skit presented by our Pre-Primary teachers, conveying the powerful message of “Unity is Strength,” followed by an energetic dance performance to a medley of patriotic songs.

Pre-Independence Day Celebration
BOMIS Bandlaguda Grade 1 and 2 students celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with immense pride and patriotic spirit! The celebration came alive with melodious patriotic songs, vibrant dance performances and a thoughtful skit. Grade 2 students also presented a special morning assembly, confidently showcasing India’s national symbols with beautiful props.
The highlight of the celebration was the prize distribution for the recently held Poem Recitation Competition:
🥇 1st Zeta – Winner
🥈 1st Beta – 1st Runner-up
🥉 1st Delta – 2nd Runner-up
Vivaan Agarwal of Grade 1 Delta was also felicitated for winning First Prize in Karate.

🐘Save Elephants! | World Elephant Day
On the occasion of World Elephant Day, students of Grades 1 and 2 participated in a series of engaging activities aimed at creating awareness about the importance of protecting and conserving elephants. Our young learners crafted creative elephant face masks and drawings. They also took part in an awareness rally and presented a special morning assembly highlighting the need to protect elephants.

Addiction-Free India
BOMIS Bandlaguda had the privilege of welcoming the Brahma Kumaris to our campus on 13 August 2026 as part of the Addiction-Free India Mega Campaign.
Our students participated in an awareness session that sensitised them to the harmful effects of substance abuse and encouraged them to make positive, healthy and responsible choices.
As a meaningful commitment towards a healthier future, our students also took the Addiction-Free India pledge, promising to embrace a healthy, value-based and addiction-free lifestyle.
