“The last generations of this ummah can only be reformed by that which reformed its first generations. What was not part of the religion then cannot become part of the religion now.”

قال الشيخ صالح الفوزان حفظه الله: أعظم ما تجاهد به أعداء الله جَلَّ وَعَلَا والشيطان نشر العلم

[الوصايا الجلية ص رقم 46]

Shaykh Sālih al-Fawzān (may Allāh preserve him) said,

“The greatest thing with which you can fight against the enemies of Allāh, the Glorified and Exalted, and the Shaytān is by spreading knowledge.”

Imām Ibn Qayyim al- Jawzīyah (rahimahullaah) said:

𝐈𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐱 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞- 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞:

𝟏- 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭,
𝟐- 𝐀𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫,
𝟑- 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫,

Adh-Dhahabī (may Allāh have mercy on him) said,

“The most knowledgeable of women of the ummah (this nation) by far is ‘Āisha, may Allāh be pleased with her.”

The Prophetﷺ said,
"Do not abuse my companions for if any one of you spent gold equal to Uhud (in Allah's Cause) it would not be equal to a Mud or even a half Mud spent by one of them."

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

By his good character a believer will attain the degree of one who prays during the night and fasts during the day.

Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,

"The dearest and nearest among you to me on the Day of Resurrection will be one who is the best of you in manners;

and the most abhorrent among you to me and the farthest of you from me will be the pompous, the garrulous, and Al-Mutafaihiqun."

The Companions asked him:

"O Messenger of Allah! We know about the pompous and the garrulous, but we do not know who Al-Mutafaihiqun are."

He replied: "The arrogant people."

[At-Tirmidhi, who classified it as Hadith Hasan].

The Messenger of Allah said:

“The most complete of the believers in faith, is the one with the best character among them.

And the best of you are those who are best to your women.”

Allah has mentioned that the Qur'ān is a remedy, He said:

وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا

"And We reveal from the Qur'ān what is a cure and a mercy for the believers."
[Surah al Isra':82]

باب إِطْعَامُ الطَّعَامِ مِنَ الإِسْلاَمِ

📗 Sahih al-Bukhari 12

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr:

A man asked the Prophet (ﷺ) ,

🌱 "What sort of deeds or (what qualities of) Islam are good?"

The Prophet (ﷺ) replied,

🌱 'To feed (the poor) and

🌱 greet those whom you know and those whom you do not Know (See Hadith No. 27).

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رَجُلاً، سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَىُّ الإِسْلاَمِ خَيْرٌ قَالَ ‏ "‏ تُطْعِمُ الطَّعَامَ، وَتَقْرَأُ السَّلاَمَ عَلَى مَنْ عَرَفْتَ وَمَنْ لَمْ تَعْرِفْ ‏"‏‏.‏
