Celebrating Creativity: Our School Avenue Hosts Annual Art Exhibition on April 9th,2026 at 4 pm.
Our School Avenue community is thrilled to invite parents, families, and friends to our upcoming Art Show on April 9th, featuring exceptional artistic creations from students across all grade levels—from Pre-KG through Grade 7.
This year's exhibition showcases the remarkable talent and imagination of our young artists, whose work spans multiple mediums and styles. Under the thoughtful guidance of our art teacher, Ms. Sravanthi, each piece reflects far more than artistic skill—it represents the seamless integration of art into our curriculum.
"Art is not separate from learning; it's woven into every subject our students explore," says Ms. Sravanthi. Through carefully curated projects, students have brought concepts from science, literature, history, and social studies to life through paint, sculpture, collage, and mixed media. Whether creating art inspired by literary themes, scientific illustrations, cultural traditions, or historical moments, our students have discovered that creativity enhances and deepens their understanding across all disciplines.
From vibrant explorations of colour and form in our younger grades to more sophisticated conceptual pieces from our older students, the Art Show demonstrates how art education nurtures critical thinking, self-expression, and a deeper connection to the world around us.

Pre-K II ‘O’ students at Our School Avenue explored the Author Study theme featuring Hans Wilhelm through the book Noodles-I Love Colours. As part of the learning experience, students engaged in a hands-on colour mixing activity using play dough. They combined primary colours, such as blue and yellow, to discover and create secondary colours like green. This fun and interactive activity helped students understand basic colour concepts while enhancing their curiosity and creativity.

Our School Avenue came alive as our young learners confidently presented their Thematic Unit learning.
Our KG2 students explored Feelings & Emotions, demonstrating their growing ability to recognize, understand, and express how they feel while showing empathy and kindness toward others. Watching them articulate emotions with such confidence was a beautiful reminder that social-emotional growth begins early.
Our Grade 2 students took us deep into the Rainforest, sharing their understanding of its layers, habitats, and biodiversity, while highlighting the importance of environmental responsibility. Their knowledge, collaboration, and stage presence reflected meaningful learning beyond the classroom.
Moments like these show how our integrated curriculum nurtures both strong academic foundations and confident, well-rounded individuals.

Our School Avenue became a forest today with our Grade 1 students shining brightly as they presented their learning from the Animal Thematic Unit! Each first grader brought the stage to life with different animals in a heartwarming play that had everyone smiling, laughing, and maybe even tearing up a little. From studying animals in our literacy-based integrated curriculum to becoming them on stage, these young learners showed us just how much they've grown. Their confidence, creativity, and pure joy touched every heart in the audience.
