What is the difference between ALOUD and LOUDLY?
'Loudly' is the opposite of 'quietly'. It is used to speak about the strength of a noise,
'They were speaking so loudly that everyone came out of their rooms to see what was happening.'
You use 'aloud' with words such as, 'read' or 'think' to tell someone to utter words that they are reading or thinking silently.
