at Gabbur, Hubballi. The Karnataka Lingayat Education (KLE) Society, the sponsoring society of KAHER has a rich history of imparting quality education in this Northern part of Karnataka, and Southern part of Maharashtra. Our cutting-edge new bachelor of physiotherapy programme has been meticulously designed to reflect physiotherapy in the twenty-first century, and it is adaptable and future-proof to meet the changing needs of health and social care, as well as the profession globally. You will gain the competencies and clinical skills required to provide high-quality, safe, and effective care that meets the needs of patients, as supported by evidence. The KLE Society started Bachelor of Physiotherapy program in 2022, at KLE Prerna Residential Pu Science College campus,Gabbur,Hubli, under the ambit of KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research (Deemed-to-be-University) in year 2022. The Physiotherapy students will undergo Pre Clinical and Para clinical training at The Jagadguru Gangadhar Mahaswamigalu Moorsavirmath Medical College (JGMMMC) of KAHER Hubballi Campus established at Gabbur. The students are exposed to Clinical training in super-specialty setup at KLE Suchirayu Teaching Hospital of JGMM MC which is a 330 beds establishment. The KLE Suchirayu hospital has all the departments like Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obst. Gynecology, Orthopedics, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Pulmonary Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Radio-diagnosis Dentistry with well-equipped OTs, ICUs to cater all type of Emergency Cases. The JGMMMC College has fully equipped pre-clinical departments like Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry along with para-clinical departments like Pathology, Forensic Medicine, Pharamacology, Microbiology and Community Medicine with State-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities.

KLE College of Physiotherapy, Hubballi and KLE Institute of Physiotherapy, Belagavi proudly participated in the Education Expo organized at KAHER, Belagavi, an event that brought together a wide spectrum of medical and allied health sciences under one platform to guide aspiring students toward promising healthcare careers.

The physiotherapy stalls showcased comprehensive information about the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) programs, highlighting the structured 5-year BPT curriculum with a mandatory internship, along with diverse MPT specializations including Paediatrics, Sports, Cardio-Respiratory, Neurology, Orthopaedics, OBG, and Geriatrics. Faculty members engaged actively with students and parents, providing insights into academic excellence, clinical exposure, and career prospects.

Visitors were introduced to the state-of-the-art infrastructure, including modern laboratories, smart classrooms, clinical training facilities, digital libraries, hostel amenities, and placement opportunities across hospitals, sports sectors, research, and private practice. The stalls witnessed enthusiastic participation and significant inquiries regarding admissions, career scope, and global opportunities.

On 5th May 2026, KLE College of Physiotherapy, Hubballi, organized a guest lecture on “Beyond Borders: Growing as a Therapist & Opportunities Overseas.” The event was graced by Principal Dr. Prashant Mukkanavar, Vice Principal Dr. Veena, and co-ordinated by the Head of the Department of Community Physiotherapy, Dr. Navami Mahaveer, along with Dr. Vishvesha Rao.

The resource person, Dr. Zia Qazi (PT), Senior Physiotherapist at NHS, London, United Kingdom, delivered an insightful session on professional growth, international career opportunities, and the scope of physiotherapy practice overseas. The session also highlighted career guidance, higher education pathways, and experiences of working in the global healthcare system.

The stall showcased Physiotherapy services, awareness activities, and interactive demonstrations for visitors. The occasion was made even more significant by the visit of Snehal R, Deputy Commissioner of Dharwad, who visited the stall and appreciated the initiatives and contributions of the institution. She was accompanied by Shri Veeranna B. Kallur, whose presence added further value to the event. The course was co-ordinated by Dr. Cassindra Cardoz. The session was led by Dr. Suma Patil, Assistant Professor, who delivered an engaging and insightful talk.
