The sixth day of the 7th Jan Aushadhi Diwas 2025 was marked by the nationwide launch of the "Jan Aushadhi Mitra" campaign. This initiative seeks to foster community involvement and raise awareness about the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana throughout the country.
We are delighted to announce that the Department of Pharmacy Practice, KLE College of Pharmacy, Hubballi, celebrated Jan Aushadhi Diwas 2025 to promote awareness about affordable and quality generic medicines under the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP).

The event was graced by the presence of several distinguished dignitaries. The Chief Guest, Dr. AHM Viswanatha Swamy, Principal of KLE College of Pharmacy, Hubballi, honored the occasion with his insightful address and guidance. The event also featured Mr. Rahul Mungekar, CEO of Vivekanand General Hospital, whose leadership talk greatly impacted the participants.
We were privileged to have Mr. Vemu Nagaraju, Assistant Manager (Sales and Marketing), whose expertise in the pharmaceutical industry added valuable perspectives to the celebration. Dr. Sanatkumar Nyamagoud, Head of the Department of Pharmacy Practice, coordinated the event with remarkable efficiency. Additionally, Dr. P. M. Ronad, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Mr. Harisk K. H., Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, played vital roles in the smooth conduct of the program by providing valuable assistance and support throughout the event, ensuring that all arrangements were well-coordinated and executed efficiently.
The event was beautifully anchored by Dr. Akshata M. Purantar, who gracefully conducted the proceedings and ensured the smooth flow of the program.
