Dept. of Pharmaceutics, CIPT, successfully conducted a 3-day Hands-on Training Workshop on HPLC, UV & FTIR titled “Fundamentals of Chromatography and Spectroscopy” at CIPT & AHS from 13th–15th May 2026.

The program provided participants with valuable practical exposure and conceptual clarity in key analytical techniques essential for pharmaceutical sciences.

We were honored to have Dr. Somsubhra Ghosh and Dr. Soumya Ganguly as resource persons, whose insights greatly enriched the learning experience.

The enthusiastic participation of students and faculty made the workshop highly engaging and impactful.

We recently concluded an intensive 3-day workshop on "Core Techniques in Experimental Pharmacology" at the Calcutta Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology & AHS. Our students gained invaluable hands-on experience in ethical animal handling and advanced administration routes.

Highlights of the sessions included:

Ethical Foundations: Deep dives into the ethical handling and care of laboratory animals.
Precision Training: Comprehensive hands-on sessions covering Oral, S.C., I.P., and Intradermal routes of administration.
Advanced Skills: Mastery of blood collection and withdrawal techniques in rats and mice.
