On 16.01.2026, Sikshanamandira organized an educational excursion to Kamarpukur & Jayrambati for B.Ed. & M.Ed. final year students. This excursion was organized to provide students with firsthand knowledge of the significance of these places, whose spiritual importance is immense in Indian religious and cultural history.

On 12.01.2026 the college observed National Youth day - the Birthday of Srimat Swami Vivekananda - with much enthusiasm and vigour. A procession was taken out from the college campus to Belur Math consisting of students, faculties and staff members. It served as a reminder that the youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow and their contributions are essential for building a brighter future for all.

The Janmatithi of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated with devotion and solemnity on 10.01.2026 at Sikshanamandira. The programme commenced with a special puja, offering floral tributes and prayers in honour of Swami Vivekananda, remembering his profound spiritual and philosophical contributions. The atmosphere was further enriched by devotional music.

All students, teachers and staff members enthusiastically participated in various events. As per the directives from Govt. of West Bengal, Ramakrishna Mission Sikshanamandira observed Students’ Week from 2nd to 8th January, 2026 with a slew of programs such as Career Counselling, Quiz Competitions, Workshop on making Collages on Paper aimed at familiarization with methods for Mass Education. Student awareness programmes on various Govt. Scholarship schemes such as Student Credit Card, SVMCM, Aikyashree, etc. were conducted as part of the observation.

Sikshanamandira conducted a Winter Relief Distribution drive at Hatpara Vivek Seva Niketan, Jaynagar Majilpur, 24 Parganas on 26.12.2025 in collaboration with Nabadiganta Tapassya Foundation. A total of 100 blankets were distributed among the financially challenged local populace based on a pre-event survey.
