HISTORIOGRAPHY The school had to face various trails and tribulations because there was ambiguity in promoting it into a high school.

In 1980 Rev.Vincent Rajkumar the Pastor of the CSI Christ Church along with Mr.John Durairaj wanted to do some social work so they started a Nursery School with one teacher Mrs.Siluvai Mary and 15 students and they named the school CSI English Medium School.The strength rose to 40 in 1981. With the good intentions to serve the society and inculate a healthy mind in a human body this noble venture

was implemented and gently progressed during the years.In 1983 with a strength of 45 students and 3 teachers and Standard 1st was started.Initially the classes were conducted inside the old church building by a team of committed teachers.These teachers took upon themselves the additional responsibility of canvassing and persuading the general public to send their children to school.As a result of the hard work by the teachers the strength rose to 140 in 1984.To accommodate the increasing strength four tiles classrooms were built. More things were brought up by prayer.A van was purchased in 1991.laboratory and library were set up in 1991-1992.High school was introduced and classes were added step by step. In 1995-1996 the recognition was extended upto class 9.The school after this got remarkable recognition.After this this the school got permission for Government Examination.First batch of students wrote their examnd came out in flying colours.School name became CSI CHRIST MATRICULATION SCHOOL. After seven years of centum results in 10th the school obtained permission for std.11.The higher seconday started functioning in the year 2004-2005.The infrastructure required for board practicals was establisted by the management.The school has been made as a centre to conduct matriculation exam practicals in laboratories
The first batch students appeared for their board exam in 2005-2006 in Higher Secondary examinations.So lets wish our institution to flourish well in future.
