Aethal Chorus – The Beginning of a New Musical Journey at MMS

A historic milestone in the life of Mathakondapalli Model School.

On the occasion of India's 80th Independence Day celebrations, MMS proudly inaugurated Aethal Chorus – The English Secular Choir, marking the beginning of a transformative journey in music, harmony, and artistic excellence.

Guided by renowned choir conductor Ms. Disha Prarthana, students from diverse grades came together as one voice, making their debut performance a memorable expression of unity, discipline, and joyful collaboration.

More than a choir, Aethal Chorus represents the MMS commitment to holistic education—where students develop confidence, creativity, teamwork, listening skills, and cultural appreciation through the power of music.

The inaugural performance stood as a powerful reminder that when young voices unite with purpose, they create something truly extraordinary.

Today, our UKG learners turned simple leaves into beautiful works of art! 🌿✨

Through this hands-on Leaf Impression Activity, children explored different shapes, textures, patterns and colours by pressing leaves onto paper to create their own unique impressions.

More than an art activity, it was a joyful experience of learning through observation, touch, experimentation and creativity—connecting the classroom with the natural world. 🍃

As part of Space Week, our grade 3 to 5 students explored the wonders of space through colouring, painting, and drawing activities. While learning about planets, stars, and space exploration, they also strengthened their creativity, imagination, and artistic expression.

One Voice. One School. One Spirit.

This Independence Day, we witnessed a beautiful new beginning at Mathakondapalli Model School as Aethal Chorus – our English Secular Choir took the stage for their very first performance.

Under the guidance of Ms. Disha Prarthana, Choir Conductor, Bangalore, our young singers transformed months of practice, discipline and collaboration into a performance filled with harmony and spirit. 🇮🇳

But the true beauty was not just in the music—it was in the learning behind every note. Learning to listen, synchronise, support one another, overcome nervousness and find confidence in performing together.

For us, this was more than a debut performance. It was a reminder that learning happens through doing, creating and experiencing together.

A blessing to witness the beginning of Aethal Chorus and the journey they have now begun. 🎶✨
