PLACEMENT DAY

International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, observed on June 26, raises awareness about the global problem of drug abuse and its harmful effects on individuals and society. The day emphasizes the need for effective prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation programs to combat addiction. It also highlights the importance of addressing the illegal drug trade and promoting policies that protect public health. By encouraging education and support, the day aims to reduce drug abuse and its associated challenges, fostering healthier communities worldwide.

World Creativity and Innovation Day, observed on April 21, promotes the use of creativity to drive positive change and solve global challenges. It encourages individuals and organizations to think outside the box, explore new ideas, and embrace innovation in all fields, from science and technology to the arts and business. By fostering creativity, the day highlights its role in achieving sustainable development and improving quality of life worldwide.

EVM (Electronic Voting Machine) awareness focuses on educating voters about the functioning, security, and reliability of EVMs used in elections. It aims to build public trust in the electoral process by explaining how EVMs ensure accurate and tamper-proof voting. Awareness campaigns typically cover how votes are recorded, counted, and safeguarded against manipulation, often including demonstrations to dispel myths or concerns about their use. Promoting EVM awareness ensures that voters feel confident in the fairness and transparency of the voting system.

An Orientation Programme was organized for all Classes I.e. ,CSE,ME,DMLT,EE on 1 August, 2024 . The Orientation was held in order to acquaint the new comers about the College’s rules and regulations, it’s values, specific Program outcomes, subjects, various scholarship available etc. It was an enlightening experience for the freshers.
