Indus Public School, Mirchpur, celebrated Independence Day on August 15, 2026 in its school campus with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. The programme was graced by Col Neeraj Ruhil, as the Chief Guest. The celebration began with flag hoisting followed by National Anthem.

The programme included different cultural events performed by students as well as by the teachers.The performances beautifully reflected the spirit of patriotism and the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. ln his address, Col. Neeraj remembered our martyrs and motivated the audience to follow the path shown by our freedom fighters.

The programme was a memorable tribute to our martyrs and inspired everyone to uphold the values of unity, patriotism and responsibility.🇮🇳🇮🇳

The presentation was thoughtfully prepared and delivered by Class XII students Annu, Pooja and Ritu under the guidance of their mentor, Mrs Jaishree Ma’am.

Indus Public School, Mirchpur proudly hosted a Special Assembly presented by Shivalik House on the theme "Fuhaar – Rain to Reservoir," highlighting the importance of water conservation.

The programme commenced with the warm welcome of the Chief Guest, Shri Praveen Pruthi Ji, Co-ordinator, Indus Group of Institutions, followed by the ceremonial lamp-lighting ceremony. The event featured a graceful Welcome Dance, inspiring speeches, meaningful poems, a thought-provoking mime, and captivating cultural performances, beautifully conveying the message of preserving every drop of rain for a sustainable future.

Indus Public School, Mirchpur solemnly observed Kargil Vijay Diwas through a special morning assembly to honour the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of the brave soldiers who safeguarded our nation's pride during the Kargil War.

Students paid heartfelt tribute by delivering inspiring speeches and reciting patriotic poems, expressing their respect and gratitude for our armed forces. Mrs. Sonia addressed the students and highlighted the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas.
