The session covered causes, prevention, and management of depression, emphasizing the importance of early identification and seeking timely help.

The Constipation Awareness Programme was successfully conducted by the GNM 2nd year nursing students of Maharishi Dayanand Institute of Nursing with the aim of creating awareness about the causes, prevention, and management of constipation.

During the programme, students explained constipation as a condition marked by infrequent bowel movements, hard stools, and difficulty in passing stool. They elaborated on various causes, signs, and symptoms of constipation in a simple and understandable manner.

Basic management strategies and home remedies, such as adequate warm water intake, increased fiber consumption, healthy dietary habits, and seeking medical consultation in severe cases, were also discussed.

The programme was well received and helped promote awareness about maintaining healthy bowel habits among the community.
