I am pleased to report that today our Vidyasinchana Pre-University College successfully hosted the meaningful programme “ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಬಿಡಿ – ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಹಿಡಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ–ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ–ಪೋಷಕರ ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯ” (Leave the Mobile – Pick Up a Book and Strengthen Student–Teacher–Parent Harmony).
The programme focused on promoting a healthy reading culture, responsible use of technology, value-based education, and stronger coordination among students, teachers, and parents.
The event was organised in collaboration with Janapara Sahitya Parishat (Regd.), Karnataka State, under the leadership of Dr. M. Mahesh Chikkalluru. The programme featured valuable interactions with all the dignitaries presented.
The programme provided our students with meaningful exposure beyond academics and encouraged them to develop reading habits, critical thinking, ambition, discipline, and social responsibility.
I also had the opportunity to address the gathering on the importance of balancing technology with reading and on the collective responsibility of students, teachers, and parents in shaping responsible and successful young citizens.
I sincerely thank the Vidyasinchana Educational Trust Management, especially our M.D. Sri.Ravi Sir, for the continuous encouragement and support towards conducting such meaningful, value-based programmes in our institution.
My sincere appreciation also goes to Shri Jayaram M., Smt. Shilpa M., K*m. Sinchana & all management members, Janapara Sahitya Parishat office bearers, teaching staff, and everyone involved in the successful organisation of the programme.
Overall, the programme was meaningful, informative, student-centric, and well received, and it served as a valuable initiative towards strengthening the culture of reading and holistic education in our institution.
