💡 Young Innovators in Action! 💡
Is human skin a conductor of electricity? Our Class 8 budding scientists explored this hands-on in the Atal Tinkering Lab today! ⚡🤖
Using an NPN Transistor (BC547), a 7805 Voltage Regulator, and a solderless breadboard, students built a Two-Finger Touch Lamp. By bridging the touch probes with their fingers, a micro-current triggers the transistor switch to glow an LED!
Through this activity, students mastered key Class 8 Science concepts:
✅ Transistor operation as a switch
✅ Voltage regulation for component safety
✅ Electrical conductivity & circuit prototyping
Learning by doing is building the future of innovation! 🚀✨

Raindrop Sensor & LED with Arduino | ATL Activity

Our Class 10 students successfully completed a hands-on Arduino activity using a Raindrop Sensor, LED, and Serial Monitor. Students learned how to detect rain, monitor sensor values in the Serial Monitor, and control an LED based on the sensor input. This activity enhanced their understanding of coding, electronics, sensors, and real-world applications through experiential learning.

Hands-on Learning in ATL–Grade 6B 💡

Our Grade 6B students enthusiastically explored the basics of electronics through an LED Glowing Activity using Tinkercad simulation and real electronic components in the ATL Lab.

Students first designed and tested their circuits virtually in Tinkercad before building the actual circuit using LEDs, resistors, a breadboard, jumper wires, and a battery. This practical approach helped them understand the relationship between theory and real-world implementation.

Learning Outcomes:
✅ Identified basic electronic components and their functions.
✅ Understood circuit connections and current flow.
✅ Learned the importance of resistor values for LED protection.
✅ Developed circuit design and troubleshooting skills.
✅ Gained confidence in using Tinkercad for virtual circuit simulation.
✅ Enhanced creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving through hands-on learning.

At S.R. Public School Hebri ATL, we continue to nurture young innovators by blending digital simulation with practical experimentation.

Our Grade 8A students actively participated in an engaging **Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL)** activity on **Calculating Resistor Values Using the Resistor Color Code Chart**.

Through this hands-on session, students learned the fundamentals of electronics by identifying resistor color bands and calculating resistor values accurately. Activities like these help develop practical skills, logical thinking, and a strong foundation in STEM education.

We are proud to nurture young innovators and problem-solvers through experiential learning.

ATL Activity: Making a Model of Newton's Boat | Newton's 3rd Law of Motion

Under ATL Curriculum 2026-27, students designed a DC motor-powered boat to demonstrate action-reaction forces. When the motor rotates the propeller, it pushes water backward and the boat moves forward — a perfect example of Newton's Third Law.
