“Competitions are not about winning alone; They are about striving to be better than yesterday.”

The commencement of the new academic session marked a fresh start filled with renewed enthusiasm, aspirations, and a spirit of determination among the students. Along with the academic pursuits, the school also initiated its much-awaited Inter-House Competitions, setting the stage for a vibrant display of talents and teamwork.

On 18 April 2026 our school enthusiastically organized a vibrant series of Inter-House Activities for students from Classes VI to XII. The event was thoughtfully designed around two engaging themes: “International Dance Day” for junior classes and “Panchayati Raj” for senior classes. The program aimed to foster creativity, teamwork, cultural awareness, and civic responsibility among students. The day started with great excitement as students of Classes VI to VIII showcased their talents through various performances inspired by International Dance Day. Students of Class VI presented lively and colourful Western and Folk dance performances. Their energetic movements, coordinated steps, and colourful costumes reflected a beautiful blend of modern and traditional cultures. Class VII students demonstrated the significance of discipline and well-being through a synchronized Yoga presentation that highlighted the importance of physical fitness and mental peacekeeping balance and coordination .The students of Class VIII captivated everyone with their Classical Dance performances. Their expressions and traditional attire beautifully portrayed India’s rich cultural heritage. The dances were both elegant and deeply rooted in tradition.

For the senior section (Classes IX to XII), activities were based on the theme of Panchayati Raj, aiming to spread awareness about grassroots democracy and local governance , where Class IX students participated in a Tug of War competition, symbolizing unity, strength, and teamwork, Class X students were engaged in a Slogan Writing Competition on the theme of Panchayati Raj. Their creative and thought-provoking slogans reflected awareness about the importance of local self-governance, citizen participation, and rural development . Thethoughts were educational and engaging, providing a platform for students not only to showcase their talents but also to help in building confidence, teamwork, and social awareness.

Overall, the Inter-House Activities were a blending of cultural celebration with educational values and creating memorable experiences for all.

🇮🇳 80 Years of Freedom, A Legacy of Pride! 🇮🇳

BLS International School, Hathras celebrated the 80th Independence Day on 15 August 2026 with immense patriotism, pride and enthusiasm. ✨🇮🇳

The celebrations began with the arrival of our respected Chairman Sir, Mr. B. L. Sharma Ji who hoisted the National Flag amidst the proud voices of the National Anthem. As the Tricolour soared high, the entire BLS family stood united in respect and gratitude to our nation.

The spirit of patriotism came alive through a spectacular NCC and Scouts & Guide March Past, where our young cadets marched with discipline, confidence and vigour, filling the campus with an inspiring sense of national pride. 🇮🇳

The cultural programme was a vibrant celebration of India’s freedom, heritage and unity, featuring soulful patriotic songs, energetic dances, melodious musical performances, powerful speeches and inspiring poems. Every performance echoed the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and reminded us that the freedom we cherish today was earned through courage, sacrifice and unwavering love for the nation.

The Principal, in her address, encouraged students to understand that true freedom comes with responsibility—to be honest, compassionate, disciplined and committed citizens who contribute positively to the nation.

The Academic Toppers of Classes X and XII were felicitated with prestigious awards on behalf of Sahodaya School Complex, Hathras, in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements. 🏆📚

The celebration was followed by the Investiture Ceremony 2026–27, where the newly elected Student Council members proudly received their badges and sashes and took on the responsibility of leading the school with integrity and dedication. 🎖️✨

As the day concluded with the distribution of sweets, one message resonated through the entire campus:

Freedom is not merely a legacy we inherit; it is a responsibility we carry forward.

🇮🇳 One Nation. One Spirit. One BLS Family. 🇮🇳

BLS International School, Hathras conducted a Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) on 8th August 2026 with the objective of providing parents an opportunity to interact with teachers before the Half-Yearly Examinations. The meeting focused on addressing parents’ doubts and queries, seeking their suggestions, and strengthening the partnership between parents and the school.

The PTM was designed as a different and more holistic interaction, going beyond academics. Parents and teachers discussed the child’s behaviour in class, interaction with peers, participation, discipline, social development, and other aspects of the child’s overall growth. The school believes that at least one such PTM every year should provide a platform to discuss the child beyond marks and academic performance, helping parents and teachers work together towards the child’s overall development.
