In West Bengal's land of golden light,
Where Ganges flows with gentle might.
From Darjeeling's hills so high and green,
To Sundarbans' mangroves, serene.

The culture blooms with vibrant hue,
Of Bengali art, both old and new.
Tagore's words, a poetic stream,
That flows through hearts, a timeless dream.

The food, a symphony of taste,
With fish and rice, a perfect haste.
The festivals, a joyous sound,
Durga Puja's drums, all around.

Kolkata's streets, a story tell,
Of history, passion, and rebel's yell.
From Tagore's verse to Shaheed Minar's might,
West Bengal shines, a beacon bright.

This land of joy, of love and light,
A treasure trove, both day and night.
West Bengal's greatness, we adore,
A gem in India's heart, forever more.

**Poem:Riverbank Delight**

Anima and Narayan, a perfect pair,
Dodged school one day, without a care,
They ran to the river, where waters play,
And spent the day, in a joyful way.

The sun shone bright, the birds sang free,
As they sat together, wild and carefree,
Their laughter echoed, across the stream,
As they watched the fish, in a watery dream.

The river's gentle flow, it seemed to say,
"Come, let's forget, the school day's way,"
Anima and Narayan, they didn't resist,
Their adventure, a memory to persist.

They skipped the books, and the classroom's grind,
And let their spirits, by the river entwine,
Their bond grew strong, in the sun's warm light,
As they savored freedom, on that truant night.

The river's melody, it sang a song,
Of joy and laughter, all day long,
Anima and Narayan, they danced with glee,
Their riverbank delight, a memory to be.

Their secret safe, their hearts full of cheer,
They promised to return, another year,
To the river's bank, where they had so much fun,
And their friendship, forever would be won.

In Bharat's land, where sages wise did roam,
Ancient civilization, a heritage to call home.
Birthplace of Rama, Krishna, and Chaitanya's divine,
Swami Vivekananda's teachings, a spiritual shrine.

The Vedas and Gita, scriptures of ancient might,
Ramayana and Mahabharata, epics that shine so bright.
The Himalayas guard the north, a majestic sight,
The ocean's waves on the south, kiss her feet with delight.

Forests lush and green, deserts vast and wide,
Diverse landscapes, where nature's beauty resides.
Non-violence a virtue, that India's heart does hold,
Attributing God in everything, a philosophy to unfold.

From the Indus to the Ganges, rivers sacred flow,
Cradle of culture, where spirituality does grow.
The land of unity, in diversity's stride,
A nation that welcomes, all with an open heart inside.

India's ancient wisdom, a treasure to share,
A land that nurtures, the soul and the air.
May her teachings guide us, on the path of truth and light,
And her greatness inspire us, through day and night.

Anima said with a smile so bright,
"Narayan, come, let's take flight,
To the Rathayatra Fair, so grand,
Where joy and laughter take a stand."

Narayan's heart skipped a happy beat,
At the thought of the fair to meet,
He agreed with enthusiasm high,
Together they'd dance, beneath the open sky.

As they strolled through the vibrant crowd,
Their spirits soared, their hearts avowed,
The scent of sweetmeats filled the air,
Tempting their taste buds beyond compare.

The chariots of Jagannath in sight,
Filled their hearts with pure delight,
The drums beat loud, the bells rang free,
As they joined the throng, wild and carefree.

With every step, their joy did grow,
In the company of friends, they'd show,
Their smiles shone bright, their laughter rang,
As they savored each moment, young and sprang.

The fair's magic, it did unfold,
As Anima and Narayan's bond did hold,
In the midst of joy, they'd find their bliss,
Together, in the fair's radiant kiss.

Their visit to the Rathayatra Fair,

As they danced through streets, with love's sweet chime.
Their laughter echoed, joy unconfined,
In each other's eyes, their love did shine.

With every step, their bond grew strong,
Their love a flame, that burned all day long.
They whispered sweet nothings, in each other's ear,
Their love a symphony, that brought them near.

In the city's bustle, they found a nest,
A secret haven, where their love could rest.
Their hearts beating fast, with love's sweet thrill,

She fed him cakes, with a tender touch,
Their love talks flowed, like a gentle clutch.

The evening sparkled, with stars up high,

In morning's golden light, Narayan would stroll,
To school, with heart full of soul.
Anima's voice, a gentle breeze,
Called out his name, with urgent ease.

Her school bag strap, a sudden plight,
Broken, and books, in disarray in sight.
She pushed them into Narayan's bag with care,
And they walked to market, with a moment to share.

The tailor's needle, sewed with gentle might,
The strap was fixed, and all was right.
Then they headed to school, with time to spare,
Anima thanked Narayan, with a smile so fair.

At school's end, Anima waited with glee,
For Narayan, her hero, she'd soon see.
A senior by class, yet kind and true,
Narayan smiled, as Anima thanked him anew.

Their eyes met, and hearts took flight,
In that moment, love shone with delight.
Anima's smile, a radiant beam,
Illuminated Narayan's dream.

Vernal Bliss

On a day so bright, with sunshine high,
Anima skipped the puja, with a twinkle in her eye,
In vernal yellow, a sharee so fair,
She rode my bicycle, with her fragrant hair.

We rode to a place, by the river's stream,
A lonely spot, where love's sweet dream,
Would bloom in secret, away from sight,
Our hearts beating fast, in love's delight.

The rural river, a gentle flow,
Reflected our love, as it started to grow,
Anima's laughter, a melodious sound,
Echoed through the trees, all around.

We spent the day, in love's sweet play,
Our hearts entwined, in a loving way,
The sunshine warm, the breeze so light,
Our love shone bright, like a guiding light.

Anima's smile, a radiant beam,
Illuminated my heart, my love's sweet dream,
In her eyes, my soul did see,
A love so true, a love meant to be.

The Saraswati Puja, a distant hum,
Couldn't compare, to the love we'd become,
In that lonely place, by the river's shore,
Our love blossomed, forever more.

The vernal yellow, a color so bright,
Matched the warmth, of our love's delight,
Anima's touch, a gentle caress,
Set my heart aflame, in love's sweet excess.

In that wonderful day, we spent together,
Our love grew strong, in every kind of weather,
Anima and I, a love so true,
Forever entwined, in a love anew.
