Maee, An Initiative for the Education of Van Gujjars

पहला अक्षर - जहां जंगल भविष्य लिखता है।

पिछले एक साल से ग्रीन हब के सेकंड बैच के वीडियो फेलोशिप कर रहे युवाओं ने माई (जीवन शिक्षा) का उत्तराखंड में वन गुज्जरों के साथ चल रहे काम पर एक फिल्म तैयार की गई। इस फिल्म की ग्रीन हब फिल्म फेस्टिवल में स्क्रीनिंग की गई। फिल्म में बहुत ही अमेजिंग स्टोरी और हमारे काम को अलग तरीके से दिखाने की कोशिश करती है। इस फिल्म से यह भी पता चलता है कि माई ने पिछले कुछ सालों में कितनी मेहनत की जो अब रंग ला रही है।

आज टीम माई और यूथ ट्रेनीज जटपुरा में ग्रेट बैकयार्ड बर्ड काउंट (GBBC) के दौरान बर्डिंग की गई। जिसमें आसपास के पक्षियों की गिनती की और यूथ का प्रतिभाग काफी दिलचस्प रहा।

आज ठंडा लर्निंग सेंटर में, ग्रेट बैकयार्ड बर्ड काउंट (GBBC) के दौरान बच्चों के साथ अलग-अलग हैबिटेट पर बर्डिंग की गई जिसमें बच्चों ने अपने आपसपास के अलग-अलग जगह पर पाए जाने वाले पक्षियों की गिनती की और एक चेकलिस्ट तैयार की। इस दौरान बच्चों ने समझा कि हमारे आपसास जो भी वास स्थल है उनकी अपनी अलग-अलग महत्व्पूर्ण भूमिका है जो कई सारे पक्षियों को रहने, खाना और यहां तक कि उन्हें प्रजनन का स्थान भी उपलब्ध कराते हैं।

77 वें गणतंत्र दिवस के उपलक्ष पर माई द्वारा संचालित दो लर्निंग सेंटर ठंडा और कोटोवाली में प्रोग्राम किया गया, जिसमें सभी बच्चों व समुदाय के लोगों ने मिलकर भाग लिया। इस मौके पर बच्चों व समुदाय के लोगों के साथ गणतंत्र दिवस के महत्व पर चर्चा की गई। हमारे लर्निंग सेंटरों में कभी भी प्लास्टिक के झंडे व झंडे में इस्तेमाल होने वाले फूल कभी भी खरीदे नहीं जाते बल्कि टीचर और बच्चे मिलकर जंगल से इस समय खिलने वाले फूल और पत्तों का इस्तेमाल करते हैं यह परम्परा शुरू से ही हमारे लर्निंग सेंटरों में रही है जिससे हमारे और पर्यावरण के बीच रिश्ता बना रहता है।

First exposure visit:

कल दिनांक 19/01/25 को माई लर्निंग सेंटर के बच्चों को एक्सपोजर के लिए घुघुति मेला Nature Science Initiative द्वारा ऑर्गनाइज संजय वन चेतना पार्क रुद्रपुर जाने का मौका मिला। वहां पर अलग-अलग जगह से आए स्कूलों के बच्चों ने प्रदर्शनी लगाई हुई थी जिसमें से काफी कुछ हमारे बच्चों ने देखा। एक्सपोजर के दौरान बच्चों को नई-नई चीजें देखने व समझने का मौका मिला वहां आए हुए बच्चों के साथ चर्चा की और चीज़ों को समझने की कोशिश की। नाटक के द्वारा बच्चों ने जो संदेश दिया वह अलग ही लेबल की कला थी जो हर एक सन्देश बच्चों को आसानी से समझ आ रहा था।

A wonderful start to Young Birders Month!
