Anti-Drug Pledge Campaign Organized at A***n Heritage Senior Secondary School
Haridwar. An awareness program was organized at A***n Heritage Senior Secondary School, Anneki Hetampur, under the “10 Crore De-Addiction Pledge Campaign” with the objective of making students aware of the ill effects of drug abuse and building a healthy and drug-free society.
During the program, Brahma Kumari Rajni Didi, Brahma Kumari Shailkumari, Brahma Kumari Manju, Mr. Jaiprakash, and Mr. Lokesh Kumar informed the students about the physical, mental, social, and economic harms caused by substance abuse. They called upon the students to stay away from drugs themselves and to play an active role in making their families, friends, and society drug-free.
On this occasion, all the attending students, teachers, and guests took an oath to keep themselves away from addiction and to free society from drugs. Everyone resolved to make an active contribution toward building a drug-free society.
School teachers Ms. Kiran Lata, Ms. Ruby, and Ms. Kala actively participated in the event. Other faculty members and students of the school were also present.
School Chairperson Mrs. Vandana Tyagi, Joint Director Mr. Akarsh Tyagi, and Principal Mr. Surendra Singh praised the program immensely. They stated that educating students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and inspiring them toward a addiction-free life is a highly crucial initiative in the interest of society. Expressing their gratitude to the Brahma Kumari sisters, they added that such awareness programs play a vital role in building a healthy, safe, and bright future for students.
