Our recent school activities empowered students across all grades to learn beyond the classroom through engaging, hands-on experiences:
Living Heritage Lab (Grades 6–8): A vibrant celebration of India’s diversity where learners discovered traditional art, festivals, monuments, and cuisines from different states.
Heroes Who Inspire Us (Grades 3–5): Students explored the lives of great leaders through interactive discussions and role-play, learning key values like courage, kindness, and determination.
Together, these experiential learning initiatives foster strong character, leadership, and a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage! 🇮🇳

*National Handloom Day - Online Activity
*Grades 3 to 8*
7 August 2026
*Theme: "Weaving India’s Pride"*

To celebrate *National Handloom Day*, an online activity was conducted for students of *Grades 3-8* with the aim of creating awareness about India’s rich handloom heritage and encouraging the use of indigenous fabrics.

*Activity Highlights:*
- *Virtual Showcase*: Students joined a live session where different types of Indian handloom fabrics were presented. These included *Kanjeevaram, Banarasi, Chanderi, Ikat, Khadi, Bandhani, Pochampally*, and *Chikankari*.
- *“Global Meets Local” Segment*: Teachers also displayed pictures and videos of *international branded items* that feature Indian handloom designs — like jackets, bags, and dresses from global fashion houses using *block print, ikat, and embroidery*. This helped students see how Indian craftsmanship is admired worldwide.

Students gained knowledge about various handloom traditions across India.
They understood the connection between Indian artisans and global fashion trends.

The activity instilled pride in wearing and promoting _Made in India_ handloom products.
