A special awareness program was organized at Baba Banda Bahadur Public School, Hansi, under the 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan' (A strong step towards a developed India). Held in the sacred memory of Dadi Prakashmani Ji, the program's primary objective was to raise awareness among students and society about the adverse effects of substance abuse and to engage them in the '10 Crore Drug-Free Pledge Mega-Campaign.'
Mr. Pramod and Mrs. Kiran attended the event as chief guests, representing the Brahma Kumaris and the Medical Wing. Addressing the students, they emphasized that abstaining from addiction is crucial for both mental and physical well-being. They inspired everyone present to remain drug-free throughout their lives and to encourage at least 50 people in their vicinity to take the pledge against substance abuse.
School Principal Mrs. Lovely Chawla, Administrator Mr. Pravin Chugh, Academic Coordinator Mr. Pawan Rawal, along with teachers and students, were present on the occasion. While thanking the chief guests, Principal Mrs. Lovely Chawla stated that it is the paramount duty of all to guide the younger generation in the right direction and provide them with a healthy, drug-free environment.
At the conclusion of the program, all teachers and students took a collective pledge to remain free from substance abuse and resolved to take this mega-campaign to every household.
