A special awareness session on the theme "Nasha Mukht Bharat" was conducted as part of the ongoing campaign against drug abuse. On the occasion, Mr. *Peer* *Nisar* *Ahmad*, Senior Teacher and Trade Union Leader, presently posted at BHSS Behnipora, delivered a marathon lecture highlighting the grave social, psychological, and health-related consequences of substance abuse.

The speaker emphasized the collective responsibility of students, parents, teachers, and society in combating the menace of drugs. He urged the students to adopt a healthy lifestyle, focus on education and character building, and stay away from all forms of addiction. He also appreciated the efforts of the IEC Wing, *NMBA* Kupwara for organizing awareness programmes aimed at creating a drug-free society.

INSPECTION NOTE

Government Boys High School, Wadder Payeen

In pursuance of Government Order No. 792-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated 16.04.2026, Mr. Shahnawaz Malik, BDO Rajwar, visited Government Boys High School, Wadder Payeen, today for an official inspection.

During the visit, the inspecting officer reviewed the academic and administrative functioning of the institution, including school records, attendance, infrastructure, cleanliness, discipline, and overall school management.

The officer expressed satisfaction with the functioning of the school. The institution was found to be maintaining its records properly, and the academic atmosphere, discipline, sanitation, and overall upkeep of the campus were observed to be impeccable and highly satisfactory.

The staff and students extended full cooperation throughout the inspection. No major deficiencies were observed during the visit.
