A refreshing ‘fruit Salad Day’ celebrated recently in The Lord Krishna School Dandru. Fruits and health mutually complement each other and ‘A day without a fruit is a day without a shine’.
A ‘fruit Salad Day’ is an innovative way of making the tiny tots learn about the interesting variety of fruits available around us and also to make them relish all the fruits in the form of salad in the most tastier way.
Parents took interest in sending their wards loaded with fresh fruits in the tiny tiffins. Children brought a variety of fruits such as passion fruit, Mango,kiwi, banana, apple etc. Teachers along with the children nii had a good time while preparing the fruit salad and definitely no one had tasted better fruit salad earlier than this special day! This activity helped the children to learn about different fruits, their texture and taste. A day well spent indeed. It was really a fruitful day.
