It is sad to learn the demise is Prof. Hawking yesterday morning. Prof. Hawking is remembered for his deep love for humanity and inspiring millions of people with his speeches, books and articles. His life urges us to develop scientific temper and face even the worst of the troubles with a strong heart. He remains a shining example of a scientist who has stood by his convictions till the end of his life. He believed that science should help us to understand ourselves and the infinite universe we live in. He was against advancements in science that cut short our life on earth. He is a truly universal scientist. May his legacy inspire us change our irrational perceptions and inculcate scientific temper in our children! Let us not say RIP. Let us pledge to develop scientific temper in all walks of our life. Let us make this a better place for our children! This is how we should pay our respects to Prof. Stephen Hawking.
