For our latest episode of GDS Unfiltered, our Grade 10 students took charge under the SEWA project to organize an absolute thriller of a quiz competition for our Grades 3 & 4 rockstars! 🧠🏆
Armed with cameras and mics, our student reporters went behind the scenes to interview the masterminds, the contestants, and the cheering teachers. The result? Pure joy, brilliant answers, and leadership in its truest form. 🌟

"It is not that I'm so smart, but I stay with questions much longer." — Albert Einstein

As part of the SEWA Project initiative, the students of Grade 10 organised an engaging General Knowledge Quiz Competition for the students of Grades 3 and 4. The initiative beautifully blended learning, leadership and community service, giving the senior students an opportunity to share their knowledge and mentor their younger peers.

The quiz was designed to make learning enjoyable and interactive, with questions covering a wide range of areas such as India, the world, science, nature, sports, history and current affairs. The enthusiastic participation of the young learners reflected their curiosity, confidence and eagerness to learn.

The Grade 10 students took responsibility for planning, conducting and coordinating the quiz, demonstrating excellent teamwork, communication skills and leadership qualities. The event created a lively atmosphere of healthy competition while encouraging the younger students to think, recall and respond with confidence.

✨ Creative Storytelling Competition ✨

“Every child has a story to tell; we simply need to give them the confidence to share it.” 📖✨

Our students enthusiastically participated in the Creative Storytelling Competition, turning their imagination into engaging stories and bringing their ideas to life.

Through this enriching experience, students explored their creativity, imagination, communication skills, and expression while learning to present their thoughts with confidence. The activity also helped them develop public speaking skills, voice modulation, body language, and the courage to speak before an audience.

From creating fascinating characters to building exciting storylines and meaningful endings, our young storytellers showcased that learning becomes truly powerful when imagination finds its voice. 🌟

"All power is within you; you can do anything and everything."

As part of the National Youth Day celebrations, GDS-HALOL organised a captivating role play competition, “Echoes of Eternity,” where the glorious pages of Indian history and mythology came alive on stage.

Through powerful portrayals of historical and mythological personalities, the students travelled through different eras, bringing alive the courage, wisdom, sacrifice and ideals that have shaped the Indian civilisation. Each performance beautifully reflected the richness of our heritage, traditions, values and cultural ethos.

The young performers not only showcased their creativity and confidence but also demonstrated how deeply rooted Indian values and culture continue to inspire generations. The stage became a vibrant tapestry of stories from the past, reminding everyone that our history is not merely something to be remembered, it is a legacy to be understood, celebrated and carried forward.

“Echoes of Eternity” was truly a celebration of the timeless spirit of India, where the voices of the past resonated through the enthusiasm and talent of the youth of today.
