On 9th May, 2026 DAV Centenary Public School, Haldwani celebrated Mother’s Day with
great enthusiasm and heartfelt emotions. The school turned into a hub of warmth, love and
laughter. The event was organised to honour and appreciate the invaluable role of a mother
in a child’s life. The celebration featured a series of mesmerizing performances by the
students including heartfelt songs, energetic dances all dedicated to express their love and
appreciation for the mother’s. To make the day extra special, several light hearted and
engaging games were planned to create a joyful atmosphere. The celebration reminded
everyone of the unwavering love and sacrifice of mothers. A huge thanks to all the mothers
for their presence, continuous support and for making the day truly memorable.

डी.ए.वी. पब्लिक स्कूल, हल्द्वानी में अंतर-सदनीय भाषण प्रतियोगिता का हुआ भव्य आयोजन

आज दिनांक 5 मई 2026 को डी.ए.वी. पब्लिक स्कूल, हल्द्वानी के सभागार में ‘छात्रों के जीवन में शिक्षकों की भूमिका' विषय पर एक भव्य अंतर-सदनीय भाषण प्रतियोगिता (कनिष्ठ वर्ग) का सफल आयोजन किया गया। जिसके अंतर्गत कक्षा आठवीं से लेकर कक्षा दसवीं तक के विद्यार्थियों ने प्रतिभाग किया।
प्रतियोगिता में विद्यार्थियों ने अपनी ओजस्वी वाणी और प्रभावशाली विचारों की अभिव्यक्ति से सभी का मन मोह लिया।

विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य महोदय श्री अमित जोशी जी ने विद्यार्थियों की इस शानदार विचार अभिव्यक्ति की सराहना की तथा उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे आयोजन न केवल छात्रों के आत्मविश्वास को बढ़ाते हैं, बल्कि उन्हें गुरु-शिष्य परंपरा के महत्व को समझने के लिए भी प्रेरित करते हैं।

व्यक्तिगत और सदनवार प्रतियोगिता के परिणाम इस प्रकार रहे-

2.द्वितीय स्थान: दक्ष बवाड़ी (नैनीताल सदन)
3.तृतीय स्थान: चैतन्य भट्ट (पिथौरागढ़ सदन)
4.चतुर्थ स्थान: माही बिष्ट (नैनीताल सदन)

इस आयोजन के दौरान मुख्य अतिथि के रूप विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य महोदय श्री अमित जोशी जी, बतौर निर्णायक मंडल की भूमिका में श्री प्रहलाद नेगी जी व श्री कर्षित जोशी जी तथा आयोजन प्रभारी श्रीमती उमा पडलिया, श्री सुनील चन्द्र के साथ-साथ सभी विद्यार्थी एवं विद्यालय के शिक्षक उपस्थित रहे।

*THE POWER TO CHANGE LIES IN OUR HANDS: Earth Day 2026 at DAV Haldwani*

DAV Centenary Public School, Haldwani, resonated with a strong sense of responsibility as it celebrated Earth Day under the inspiring global theme, *Our Power, Our Planet*

The day commenced with a Special Morning Assembly that served as a powerful call to action. Through insightful 'Thought' and 'Word of the Day,' students explored the deep connection between human action and environmental health.
The highlight of the assembly was a powerful skit that conveyed an important message—simple actions like saving electricity, conserving water, and following the principle of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle can make a big difference. It also brought attention to the dangers of deforestation and pollution, and the serious health hazards they pose to human life, reinforcing the urgent need to protect our planet. The assembly reached a peak as the entire school stood together to take a Pledge, vowing to be mindful guardians of our environment every single day.
The celebration of our planet's beauty continued beyond the assembly as students transformed the school into a vibrant green gallery. The Display Board was meticulously decorated with eco-conscious art, creating an atmosphere of inspiration and learning. To further channel this energy, an Inter-Class Poster Making Competition was organized for Classes IV to VIII, focusing on the following themes:

Class IV: Save Energy Today for Tomorrow

Class V: Use Solar Energy – Save Earth

Class VI: Our Power Can Heal The Planet

Classes VII & VIII: Our Power, Our Planet

This celebration was a reminder that the future is shaped by the choices we make today. By adopting responsible habits and working together, we all have the power to create a clean, green and healthy Planet.

(इस संसार में ज्ञान के समान पवित्र कुछ भी नहीं है।) आज दिनांक 18 अप्रैल 2026 को डी.ए.वी. पब्लिक स्कूल, हल्द्वानी में आर्य समाज के प्रमुख स्तंभ और शिक्षाविद महात्मा हंसराज जी की जयंती बड़े ही हर्षोल्लास और श्रद्धा के साथ मनाई गई।
कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ महात्मा हंसराज जी को पुष्पांजलि अर्पित कर किया गया। इस अवसर पर स्कूल के विद्यार्थियों ने उनके आदर्शों और समाज सुधार के कार्यों को याद करते हुए विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किए। छात्रों ने महात्मा हंसराज जी के सादगीपूर्ण जीवन और शिक्षा के प्रति उनके समर्पण पर आधारित प्रभावशाली भाषण दिए। साथ ही, कविताओं के माध्यम से उनके व्यक्तित्व के विभिन्न पहलुओं को उजागर किया गया।
इस आयोजन ने छात्रों को अपनी जड़ों से जुड़ने और महान विभूतियों के योगदान को समझने का अवसर प्रदान किया।
