12-August ::: 24 Years in IT. 1 Year of SWAY Consultants. A New Chapter.
24 years ago, today I started my journey in the IT industry. Infosys > Indus Valley Partners > 3Pillar > PureSoftware Ltd > Nagarro > Import.io > Birlasoft > GlobalLogic.
Over these two and a half decades, technology changed dramatically, roles evolved, businesses transformed—and so did I. But one thing remained constant: PEOPLE.
I had the opportunity to work with, learn from, mentor and guide thousands of professionals and students along the way. Over the years, I increasingly realised that some of the most important career decisions are often made without enough clarity. Which stream should I choose? Which college is right for me? Should I follow the crowd or my strengths? Which career will truly suit me?
And that realisation led me to take a leap. One year ago, the same day I launched SWAY Consultants. www.swayconsultants.com
Moving from a long corporate IT career into career counselling and mentoring was not simply a career change. It was a decision to turn years of experience, learning and mentoring into something that could directly impact young lives.

Today 12-Aug, as I complete 24 years in the IT industry and 1 year of SWAY Consultants, I feel grateful for both journeys. One gave me experience. The other gave that experience a new purpose. And perhaps, this is just the beginning.
