A Day of Learning, Reflection & Achievement at BLM Academy
“Education is most meaningful when students reflect, create, communicate and take ownership of their learning.”
22nd August 2026 was a vibrant and enriching day at BLM Academy, marked by meaningful parent engagement, student ownership, creativity and holistic assessment.
BLM Academy successfully conducted Parent-Teacher Meetings for Classes Nursery to IX, along with a Student-Led PTM for Classes X & XII. The PTMs provided a valuable platform for parents and teachers to discuss students’ academic progress, achievements, areas of improvement and future goals.
🌟 Student-Led PTM | Classes X & XII
As a pioneering student-centric initiative, the Student-Led PTM placed students at the centre of the conversation. Students confidently shared their academic progress, achievements, reflections, challenges and goals for improvement with their parents.
This approach encouraged students to develop self-awareness, confidence, communication skills, accountability and ownership of their learning journey. Parents actively participated by listening, encouraging and supporting their wards in setting meaningful goals.
📚 PT-II – Learning Beyond the Classroom
PT-II for Classes I to IX and XI was assessed through a holistic approach based on project making, viva voce and presentations. This provided students with opportunities to demonstrate their conceptual understanding, creativity, communication, confidence and practical application of knowledge.
The assessment encouraged students to learn by doing, express their ideas and take greater responsibility for their learning.
🎨 Kaushal Bodh – Celebrating Creativity
Adding a creative dimension to the day, a Kaushal Bodh display of Rakhi-making activities showcased the students’ creativity and practical skills. The colourful display reflected the spirit of learning by doing, creativity and skill development.
The successful PTMs, Student-Led PTM, holistic PT-II assessment and Kaushal Bodh display together reflected BLM Academy’s commitment to student-centric, experiential and future-ready education.
