Haldwani Cantt was started in July 2005 having double section from class I to X and Science & Humanities stream in Senior Secondary. Nainital (Uttarakhand) came into existence on 30 August 1989 under defence sector situated in Military Area in Army Barracks by taking over the Shivalik Army School. The Vidyalaya is run by KVS (HQ), New Delhi under the Ministry of Human Resources Development (HRD), New Delhi. The Vidyalaya is affiliated to the CBSE up to XII standard with Science and Commerce stream having two sections up to X. The Vidyalaya is dedicated to the quality education and catering to the educational needs of the children of transferable Central Government employees. Our sincere, dedicated and hard working team of 45 Staff members are devoted to overall development of more than 900 Students on roll and their united efforts have resulted into making the Vidyalaya as one of the premiere Educational institution in the Education System of India. We strive to inculcate in our students, an awareness and belief in all moral values, a respect for the dignity of labour and hard work and prepare them to take their place in society as noble and ideal citizen.
