The Anti-Ragging Committee of PAL College of Technology and Management (PCTM) organised a Poster Competition and Awareness Activity during Anti-Ragging Week to sensitise students about the harmful effects of ragging and promote a safe, respectful and inclusive campus environment.

Students from various departments actively participated and creatively highlighted the importance of awareness, mutual respect, responsible behaviour, strict adherence to anti-ragging rules, and immediate reporting of any incident.

Together, let us uphold a culture where every student feels safe, respected, and valued.

Expanding Horizons: Global Internships & Career Opportunities in Hospitality!
โ€‹The Department of Hotel Management at Pal College of Technology and Management recently organized an insightful guest lecture focused on โ€œFuture Opportunities for Overseas Internships, International Placements, and Careers in the Cruise Line Industry.โ€
โ€‹We were honored to host Mr. Devinder Kumar Mallick, Director of Capstone Education, as our keynote speaker.
โ€‹During this interactive session, Mr. Mallick provided valuable insights into global hospitality career pathways, visa processes, and industry expectations. He highlighted diverse opportunities across top international destinationsโ€”including the USA, France, Germany, Dubai (UAE)โ€”as well as dynamic roles in luxury cruise liners worldwide. Furthermore, he detailed how Capstone Education assists aspiring hospitality professionals in successfully securing international training and permanent placements.
โ€‹The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across all years of BHM and DHM, along with esteemed faculty members of the Hotel Management Department. The interactive Q&A session allowed students to gain direct clarity on navigating international careers.

Celebrating the 80th Independence Day at PAL College of Technology and Management with great pride and patriotism! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณโœจ

The celebration was graced by our Chief Guest, Col. H. S. Rawat (Retd.), along with Chairman Mr. Narayan Pal, MD Mr. Nirbhay Pal, Secretary Ms. Kamini Pal, CEO Mr. Atul Pal, and Major (Retd.) Sh*tal Negi Indian Army Veteran & Former EME and Aviation Engineering Officer. Faculty members and students also participated enthusiastically in the celebrations.

The day featured a variety of cultural and patriotic programs, making the occasion memorable and inspiring for everyone. Let us continue to uphold the values of freedom, unity, and patriotism. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณโค๏ธ

Day 5 | Deeksharambh 2026 โ€“ Valedictory & Celebration

The day began with an empowering session by Prof. Mukesh Pandey, G.B.Pant University, Pantnagar, who guided our new
students on setting clear career goals and building focus. The energy continued with a
Reel Making Competition and a vibrant Talent Showcase, highlighting the creativity and
con๏ฌdence of the incoming batch.

The day ended with a valedictory session where works of all the dignitaries visited in the past 4 days, all the day coordinators , faculty members, volunteers, and support staff, were recognized and appreciated.
The session was concluded by a small feedback session and a memorable group photograph including fresher students, faculty
members and volunteers were present.

Over the past ๏ฌve days, our freshers have connected, learned, and set the foundation for
a transformative academic journey ahead.

Day 4 was a journey filled with exploration, stories, conversations, and new experiences.

๐Ÿ„ First Stop - Gau Dham, Halduchaur
Our students explored Gau Dham, spent time with the cows, fed them, and experienced a beautiful connection with nature and compassion.
๐ŸŒฟ Next Stop โ€” FRI, Haldwani
The journey continued through Ramayan Vatika & Mahabharat Vatika, where students explored the surroundings and discovered stories brought to life through these unique spaces.

Then Came the Conversations
An engaging alumni interaction gave students a chance to hear real experiences, exchange ideas, and connect with those who once walked the same path.

And Of Course โ€” Some Fun!
The day was made even more memorable with interactive activities, games, and moments of laughter and participation.
