Inspiration College of Teachers Education celebrated Uttarakhand Sthapna Diwas to commemorate the formation of Uttarakhand as India’s 27th State. Celebration started with speech by student teachers of 1st Semester and they also sung uttarakhand geet and decorated display board showing cultural richness of uttarakhand.

Renowned theatre artist Luckyjee Gupta presented an emotional performance of the play “Maa Mujhe Tagore Bana De” at Inspiration College of Teachers Education on Saturday (26/10/2024).
The play portrayed the struggle of the poor boy who is brilliant student but his father against his studies due to their poor family conditions. He tries hard and convince his father but unfortunately his father dies and conditions become more adverse for him due to which he left his studies. His thirst for knowledge aspires him to rise above circumstances and he becomes a renowned writer like Rabindra Nath Tagore. It was a solo performance without extra costume, members and stage setting and Luckyjee Gupta skilfully performed it. This young artist has been enacting this solo play nationaly since April 2010 to popularize theatre among children with or without any support the goal of this act was to educate the children. This act was inspired by the story written by punjabi writer Late Mohan Bhandari. After Theatrical performance Luckyjee Gupta interacted with the students and shared key aspects related to theatre.
Principal Dr. Seema Dhanik Expressed gratitude to Luckyjee Gupta for the play and emphasized that students should have a good grasp of story telling techniques, expressions and emotions to effectively use them in teaching. she stated that the play conveyed the message of humanity from Gurudev Tagore’s perspective. The play conveyed the message to the audience that one should never lose heart regardless of the situation and strive continuously to reach their goal.

Inspiration College of Teacher Education organised Rakhi making Competition on 17th August 2024 for showcasing the creativity and talent of the students. Pupil teachers of Radha Krishnan House, Abdul Kalam House, Vivekanand House of III Semester participated in the competition. Judgement of the competition was done on the basis of creativity, originality and presentation by the students. Abdul Kalam House was the winner of the competition. Radhakrishnan House won II position and Vivekanand House won III position.

This year all citizens of India celebrated the 78 Independence Day with great joy and enthusiasm. Inspiration College of Teacher Education also celebrated the day to show gratitude and patriotism towards the nation. On the various programs were organised in college premises which started with flag hoisting by Joint Secretary Sir Mr Sanjay Jain and Principal Mam Dr.Seema Dhanik followed by various cultural programs like speech on Independence Day, group song and dance. At the end Principal Mam and Joint Secretary Sir gave an inspiring speech in which they explained the real meaning of independence and also tell students how they prove themselves to be a good citizen by performing all their duties towards the nation.

As per guidelines of National AIDS control organisation, Ministry of Health the Intensified Campaign is being organised in the entire country including Uttarakhand from 12th August to 12th October 2024. Under this campaign on 12 August 2024 on the occasion of International Youth Day Inspiration College of Teacher Education organised an interaction session for pupil teachers for awareness regarding prevention of HIV AIDS and STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections). This session was taken by members of Gramin Vikas and Shodh Sanstha and Dharohar Sanstha. Through this informative session pupil teachers knew about causes of HIV AIDS and STI and also about prevention of these diseases.

Inspiration College of Teacher Education initiated in spreading awareness in youth regarding making India ‘Drug- Free’ under Government of India campaign for making India drug free. This year the title for this campaign was “Viksit Bharat ka Mantra, Bharat Ho Nashe Se Swatantra”. An Interaction session with pupil teachers of college was organised by Gramin Vikas and Shodh Sanstha and Dharohar Sanstha on 12th August 2024. In this session they discussed how students can say no to drugs and live healthy life. They also suggested them to aware other people of their locality. Also an oath was taken by Principal, Faculty Members and Students for making India drug free. Plantation drive dedicated to drug free India campaign was also organised on this day.

Inspiration College of Teacher Education organised a two week programme on joyful learning from 20 May 2024 to 31 May 2024. Through this programme they planned and presented various scholastic and co-scholastic activities which will help to release stress of school students. These activities will surely help them in making their teaching effective. As teaching of various subject becomes interesting when it is done through various activities like games, music etc. This joyful learning programme gave all pupil teachers a first hand experience to construct activities which directly or indirectly help teachers in teaching learning process.

Most awaited and remarkable event of college 'Fresher Party' for the session 2023-25 held on 21 March 2024. All pupil teachers of Sem -I were very excited and participated in games and programs organized for them with full enthusiasm and joy. Party started with Saraswati Vandana followed by ramp walk, dance, singing and games. Seniors organized a special performance of their internship experience for juniors. Principal mam motivated juniors for their future and appreciated efforts of seniors. At last prizes were distributed to all the winners of the fresher party. This party works as an initiative for making an everlasting bond between seniors and juniors.

Inspiration College of Teachers Education organised the event of live streaming of “Techade-chips for viksit Bharat”. This programme started with the introduction session about a program followed by live streaming of the inauguration program. In this program Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed 'India Techade Chips for Viksit Bharat program' and virtually laid foundation stone for the semiconductor projects worth about Rs. 1.25 lakh crore. The facilities inaugurated today were-TEPL, India's first fab facility in dholera Gujarat, TEPL OSAT facility in Morigaon Assam and CG Power OSAT facility in Sanand, Gujarat. Addressing the occasion the Prime Minister told the importance of event and how these projects will play a key role in making India a semi conductor hub. He also noticed virtual presence of industry player from Taiwan and expressed excitement for today’s occasion.

The International Women’s Day was celebrated in Inspiration college of Teacher Education 07th March 2024. The purpose of celebrating this day was to aware women about their rights and status. Various competitions were conducted on this day-Mehandi Making, Rangoli Making and Display Board Decoration. Pupil teachers of both semesters participated in these competitions. From III Semester winner of rangoli and board decoration competition was group II. From semester II vivekanand house was the winner of rangoli and board decoration competition and Radhakrishnan House was the winner of mehandi making competition.

Its a matter of great pleasure for us that our Kumaun University, Nainital is one of the 26 Universities selected across the nation under MERU (Multidisciplinary Education and Research Universities). Ministry of Education has approved sum of 120 crore rupees for Uttarakhand under the Pradhaan Mantri Uchchtar Shiksha Abhiyaan (PM-USHA Scheme). Out of this amount rupees 100 crores has been allocated to Kumaun University under MERU. This fund will be used for establishing various research and academic centres like Centre for- Sustainable Urban Development, Disaster Management, Advance Computing, Faculty of Law and Education, Biomedical Science and Nano Technology etc. Regarding this a virtual meeting was held on 20th Feb 2024 at 10:30 a.m. by Kumaun University, Nainital, in this Honorable Minister of state for Defence Mr. Ajay Bhatt, Honorable Vice Chancellor Kumaun University Nainital Prof D.S.Rawat, various member of Kumaun University and other dignitaries were present. Hounrable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi joined the meeting virtually from Maulana Azad Stadium, Jammu and laid the foundation stone of various developmental projects worth over Rs. 32,000 Crore. These projects were related to various sectors including Health, Education, Rail and Road etc. Honourable Prime Minister also interacted with beneficiaries of various govt. Schemes as a part of the “Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu” Programme. In significant steps upgrading and developming and skilling infrastructure across the country PM laid foundation stone of several projects worth about Rs. 13,375 Crore. For a major boost to the education sector across the country, campuses of several important educational institutes like IIT’s IIM’s IISC inaugurated and dedicated to nation. At last Honourable Vice Chancellor of Kumaun University, Nainital addressed all members who joined virtual meeting and motivated them to work together for the fulfillment of goal of achievements of meeting the standards of MERU (Multidisciplinary Education and Research Universities).
