The Faculty of Technology & Computer Applications organized a vibrant Farewell Ceremony for the outgoing MCA batch, providing students with an opportunity to celebrate their journey, relive cherished memories, and bid farewell to campus life in a joyful and emotional atmosphere.

The event commenced with a warm welcome to the dignitaries and students, followed by inspiring addresses from Prof. (Dr.) Ravi Sankar Prasad (Dean FTCA), Prof. (Dr.) M. K. Sharma (HoD CA) and Mr. Prakhar Sharma (Course Coordinator MCA). They congratulated the graduating students on their accomplishments and encouraged them to pursue their goals with confidence, integrity, and lifelong learning. Faculty members Ms. Shradha Dobal, Ms. Pooja Tiwari, and Mr. Mukesh Kumar also extended their heartfelt best wishes and shared words of encouragement.

The celebration was enlivened by cultural performances, engaging activities, and memorable interactions that showcased the talent and camaraderie of the students. A major highlight of the ceremony was the announcement of the coveted titles, with Ms. Kalpana Aswal being crowned Ms. Farewell and Mr. Bhuwan Bhatt receiving the title of Mr. Farewell.

The program concluded with heartfelt goodbyes, group photographs, and best wishes as the graduating students embarked on the next chapter of their academic and professional journeys, carrying with them cherished memories and lifelong friendships.

The Faculty of Hospitality Management proudly formalized a strategic partnership with Capstone Education through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at expanding international internship, placement, and global learning opportunities for students.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Radha Charan Bahera (Registrar AU) and Mr. Devinder Kumar Mallick (Director Capstone Education) in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Singh (PVC AU), Mr. Mohit Bhatt (Training & Placement Coordinator FHM) and Mr. Pramod Joshi (IT Head AU)

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in strengthening academia-industry engagement and creating pathways for international internships, global placements, study-abroad opportunities, and professional development. Students will gain exposure to international hospitality standards, cross-cultural work environments, and global career prospects.

Under the MoU, Capstone Education will facilitate opportunities in destinations including the USA, France, Australia, Mauritius, the Maldives, and many other countries. The organization will also provide career guidance, interview preparation, seminars, documentation and visa assistance, and end-to-end support for international engagements.

The Management Board of Amrapali University appreciated this partnership as a key initiative toward enhancing global learning and career opportunities. Dr. S. K. Singh highlighted the importance of international exposure in preparing future hospitality professionals, while Mr. Devinder Kumar Mallick reaffirmed Capstone Education’s commitment to supporting students’ personal and professional growth through quality international opportunities.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks and a shared commitment to successfully implementing the objectives of the MoU, paving the way for international learning, professional excellence, and global career advancement for students.

Students of the Faculty of Technology & Computer Applications (FTCA) — Siddhi Baluja, Harsh*t Singh, Gagandeep Singh, and Prerana Sharma (Team Beta Version) — have been recognized as the Best Performing Team and received the Pitch Excellence Award for their startup venture, IonWatch, at the Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp – Edition 3, Phase 2 (2026), organized by AICTE and the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC).

The team was selected for this prestigious national-level program and participated in a five-day intensive bootcamp at the designated nodal centre, SGT University, Gurgaon. During the program, they received expert mentorship and hands-on training focused on refining their startup pitch, understanding customer personas, validating market needs, and strengthening their business model.

The bootcamp also provided valuable exposure to incubation ecosystems through incubation centre visits and sessions on emerging technologies, including robotics, IoT, laser technologies, and 3D development. Industrial visits and interactions with industry experts further enhanced the team's understanding of innovation, entrepreneurship, and scalable venture development.

On the final day, Team Beta Version presented their startup, IonWatch, and emerged as one of the top-performing teams, securing the Winner’s Position, Best Performing Team recognition, and the Pitch Excellence Award for their outstanding venture presentation.

Adding to this remarkable achievement, their project has been recommended for incubation under ACIC with a proposed grant of ₹4 lakh, marking a significant milestone in their entrepreneurial journey. The incubation process is currently underway.

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized an industrial visit to Maxmed Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd. for the D. Pharm 1st-year students to provide them with practical exposure to pharmaceutical industry operations and processes.

The visit was flagged off by Prof. (Dr.) Abhijeet Ojha (Principal FPS) and Prof. (Dr.) Arun Kumar Singh (HoD FPS). During the visit, the students were guided by Mr. Parvej Akhtar (Assistant Manager Quality Control), who introduced them to various departments, including the Quality Control Department, Packaging Department, Weighing Area, and Instrument Operation Section. He also explained the functioning and applications of analytical instruments such as HPLC, IR, and UV-Visible Spectroscopy.

Mr. Shishir Dwivedi (Quality Control Manager) interacted with the students and provided valuable insights into different aspects of the pharmaceutical industry. He also motivated the students by discussing emerging career opportunities and professional growth prospects in the field of pharmacy.

The visit was coordinated by Mr. Vikas Bhatt (Associate Professor), Mrs. Suruchi Chauhan (Assistant Professor), Mrs. Karuna Dhaundhiyal (Assistant Professor) and Mr. Pawan Singh (Assistant Professor).

Overall, the industrial visit proved to be a highly enriching and academically rewarding experience, enabling students to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial practices.
