We are delighted to share that 26 students from B.Sc. Nursing and GNM Nursing have been successfully selected by Medanta Hospital through a campus placement drive.

The selection process included a written examination and personal interview, assessing students on their professional knowledge, competencies, communication skills, and overall suitability for nursing positions.

Another inspiring day at MIET Kumaon! โœจ

The second day of the Three-Day Induction Programme for the BBA & BCA Batch (2026โ€“2029).

The programme commenced with an informative institutional presentation by ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ฃ๐ž๐ž๐ญ ๐’๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ก ๐’๐ข๐๐ก๐ฎ, who introduced students to MIET Kumaon's academic system, facilities, discipline, faculty members, and campus culture.

Students also attended an insightful Training & Placement Session by ๐Œ๐ซ๐ฌ. ๐€๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข ๐๐š๐ง๐๐ž๐ฒ, where they gained valuable knowledge about internships, placement opportunities, industry expectations, skill development, and career readiness.

A major highlight of the day was the Expert Talk by ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐†๐š๐ฎ๐ญ๐š๐ฆ ๐๐š๐ง๐ญ, who motivated students by sharing valuable insights on the importance of choosing BBA & BCA programmes, making the most of college life, effective communication, motivation, the difference between a job and a career, and the concept of Ikigaiโ€”helping students discover their purpose and build a meaningful career.

The day concluded on an energetic note with exciting sports activities, including a Cricket Competition for boys and Tug of War for girls, promoting teamwork, leadership, healthy competition, and sportsmanship.

We look forward to welcoming our students to the final day of the induction programme with more enriching learning experiences and personality development sessions.

We were honoured to welcome ๐Œ๐ซ๐ฌ. ๐‘๐š๐ฃ๐ง๐ข๐ค๐š๐ง๐ญ๐š ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ก๐ญ, Veteran Educationist, Institution Builder, and Motivational Speaker, as the Chief Guest. Through her inspiring address, she motivated students to embrace learning, leadership, discipline, and excellence as they begin their college journey.

The first day also introduced students to the MIET Kumaon family, campus culture, academic environment, and the exciting opportunities that await them.
