Manab Racing The inception of the team was in 2013 and the first car to have rolled out from the team's garage was back in 2015. Car no. 18. Look out for us!

Since then, We have have been consistently participating in Formula Student events conducted in India. However, due to a fatal accident of our very own team member Manab Burman we decided to raise a team in his fond memory. Subsequently, Asphalt Racing is now called Manab Racing. The team is gearing up and working to its full potential to overcome all its past missteps to deliver the best vehicle

in its racing legacy. The upcoming year, 2018 we are participating in Formula Bharat and the preparations for it are in full throttle.

On the 3rd, Manab Racing organized a one-day workshop where students learned about what Manab Racing is, its vision, and the kind of work we do. They were also introduced to competitions like Formula Imperial and Formula Bharat, which give young engineers a platform to showcase their skills and creativity. Students got the opportunity to see parts of our F3 prototype car and understand the basics such as what an engine, chassis, and suspension are.

The workshop was not just about learning the fundamentals of race car engineering, but also about inspiring curiosity, teamwork, and innovation. It gave the students a glimpse into how theory meets real-world application in motorsport. We aim to continue creating such opportunities that fuel passion, spark new ideas, and drive the spirit of motorsports forward.
