“Nothing is too wonderful to be true, if it be consistent with the laws of nature.”
— Michael Faraday

Born on 22nd September, Michael Faraday was a curious man whose experiments sparked a revolution in electricity and magnetism. With little formal education but an unquenchable yearning for knowledge, he rose to become one of the greatest experimental scientists of all time.

His groundbreaking work on electromagnetic induction, electrolysis, and electromagnetism became the stepping stones of modern electrical engineering, paving the way for generators, transformers, and countless technologies that keep the modern world running; like a spark lighting a flame, his discoveries continue to fuel scientific progress.

On his birth anniversary, Team IIChE HIT Student Chapter pays heartfelt tribute to Michael Faraday whose curiosity and discoveries continue to energise the world and inspire generations of scientists and engineers.

ॐ प्रजापतये विद्महे पुरुषाय धीमहि
तन्नो विश्वकर्मा प्रचोदयात् ॥

Vishwakarma Puja celebrates the celestial architect who shaped the weapons of the gods and the tools of humanity. On this day every workshop seeks the craftsman’s blessings for precision, vision, and creation.

From the drawing board to the factory floor, Vishwakarma Puja carries one quiet truth that craft is devotion, skill is prayer, and honest work, in any form, is worship. On this day, engineers place their hands upon blueprints born from months of sleepless nights, technicians bow before their machines, and workers lovingly garland the tools that have never left their side.

Team IIChE HIT SC wishes everyone a blessed and auspicious Vishwakarma Puja. May the divine craftsman’s blessings bring precision, purpose, and prosperity.

“Scientists study the world as it is; engineers create the world that has never been.” — Theodore von Kármán

National Engineers’ Day is celebrated on 15th September every year as a tribute to the minds that turn imagination into infrastructure, equations into engines and challenges into possibilities. This day honours the legacy of Sir M. Visvesvaraya and acknowledges the dedication of engineers who continue to make a difference through their work.

Engineering is the art of finding a way when there seems to be none. From bridges that connect places to machines that make life easier, it’s presence is woven into almost everything around us. While the technology is racing ahead like a river, engineers stand at the crossroads of designing solutions for cleaner energy, smarter cities, sustainable industries, advanced healthcare and a connected world.

TEAM IIChE HIT SC extends heartfelt wishes to every engineer who keeps the wheels of progress, turning from one problem to one solution at a time. Here’s to those who keep building and inspiring a better tomorrow.
