Congratulations and pride for two individuals, Mr. Avijit Mitra and Mr. Barun Biswas, who were part of the 2011 batch at Haldia Institute of Technology. Both of them have achieved the milestone of becoming scientists and design engineers at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

Additionally, the message highlights Mr. Avijit Mitra, who was part of the 2009 batch, and his achievements as a Scientist and Project Manager. He is involved in various roles including Thermal Systems, Expenditure Management & Procurement, Quality Management Systems (QMS) related to ISO standards, and Operations related to Thermal Control System Implementation at ISRO.

Further expresses pride in seeing these alumni contribute their expertise to the control room operations of ISRO, specifically mentioning their valuable contributions to the CHANDRAYAAN 3 mission. The overall tone is one of admiration and well wishes for their ongoing success in their roles at ISRO.

Team Vidyut recently held an orientation program for recruits. The event kicked off with a team video and introduction, highlighting the team's activities and go-kart specifications. Recruits then engaged with experienced senior members who shared their challenges during the Indian Karting Championship, emphasizing the values of staying calm, taking risks, and being humble and helpful. The program concluded by showcasing Team Vidyut's plans to venture into electric go-karts, underscoring their commitment to sustainability and innovation.

It is easy to accumulate new knowledge but reshaping our existing understanding on different areas of innovation needs versatility.

The 2nd phase of MECHNOVISION , a technical event was organised by IDEA lab under the Spices scheme sponsored by AICTE. It was a session full of knowledge and awareness to different spectrum of ideas.
Around 60 participants from different department i e. AEIE, EE, ECE and Mechanical divided into 12 groups pour out their creativity with full enthusiasm. All the groups presented their vivid ideas on their prospective prototype like Home automation, circuit resistors, weather and security systems etc.

Prof. ( Dr.) T K jana, prof. A B maity, prof. ( Dr.) Gautam Kumar Bose and prof. ( Dr.) Bikash Bepari graced the events with their presence.
2nd half of the event witnessed the result declaration and a total of 6 groups are qualified to 2nd round in order to innovate on their better ideas.

TEAM ME CLUB and TEAM NIVEDITA jointly organised ART EVENT 2022 successfully in the Mechanical engineering department. The event combined painting, photography and content writing. The participants got a chance to express their creativity and they did not disappoint.

We have celebrated the 7th foundation of Team vidyut as we have completed 6 sublime year of this Go-kart team. In this celebration we have learnt Success can beget success, and celebrating at work helps to build momentum, improve morale, and make the hard times feel all the more worth it.

On this special day we have invited our respected HOD Mr. Gautam kumar Bose and our Team coordinator Supriyo Roy and all the faculty members to celebrate our unpredictable bond of team spirit and hard-work towards the Go-Kart.

We want to take a moment to acknowledge the work that we’ve done over this period of time. We would like to thank our respective Seniors, Captain and Vice-Captain of Team Vidyut that they have started this team with a vision of unbelievable hard work and stentorian reflection. We know it has been the most stimulating aspect of our role, which makes our ongoing hard work even more useful and filled with the pride.
